We couldn't recommend Sue and the Goodhart team more highly. We bought and sold our first home with Sue and couldn't have imagined a better experience.When buying our home, Sue found amazing options and completely understood what we were looking for, what we wanted then and what we were likely to want in the future. She was clear and honest with her opinions (on one occasion she wouldn't let us out of the car when we drove up) and had an amazing knowledge of the Alexandria area. We quickly learned to completely trusted her judgement, and she couldn't have been clearer about the advantages, disadvantages and compromises we'd have to make with each option in a way that made us feel absolutely confident in our decisions.In terms of negotiating, we were always glad Sue was on our side. We bought our house for less than we expected to even offer, and then when she helped with the sale, we sold it for exactly the price we were hoping for the week before we were due to go on the market -- to a buyer she had been working with for whom our house seemed a great fit.When selling the house she was fantastic in helping us working out the necessary changes we needed to make to be ready to sell (and what changes would be unnecessary) and her team helped us plan out the staging process -- which we were only partially through when she found us the buyers.In all, Sue was an absolute pleasure to work with and at the same time exceptionally good at every aspect of process. We highly recommend her and her team.

I couldn't be happier with my Goodhart Group experience. They have every aspect of the homebuying process covered flawlessly. I felt comfortable with each decision I made because I was given complete and sound advice from the team. I was almost sad to stop spending Saturdays with Sara house-hunting. Allison helped me work through tough decisions (also making them feel less tough) and was flexible and gracious when I was a needy first-time buyer. Marty patiently guided me through two different home inspections, making a stressful process actually seem fun. Once I was under contract, Sam made sure every piece went through smoothly to closing. She was incredibly responsive during a very tight turnaround between going under contract and closing. You don't build such a great business without being the best, but needless to say, Sue's experience shown through when we needed to make a few very difficult decisions. I couldn't be more grateful for the work this group put into helping me find the perfect place. I highly recommend them.
