As I mentioned before, we work with Soha Fontaine and her teem since 2011, when we bought our apartment. When we moved to Florida in 2020, we started renting it. Since then we always rely on her experience of identifying reliable tenants, knowledge of the current demand in the area, and responsiveness with no second to it. This year we are renting again and she helped us to go successfully thru the negotiation phase. We moved to Jersey City from Queens, NY. We didn't know much about the area and had only visited a couple of times but wanted to buy and the prices in Queens were impossible for out budget. We reached out initially to his partner , Soha Fontaine, who then assigned her colleague James to us. He showed would show us as many places as we wanted to see (although was frank with us that we should limit how many we saw per-day so that we could remain engaged and focused on what we were looking at) and had an extremely flexible schedule. We drove in from Queens I don't even know how many days and every time we picked a spot of where to meet and when, he showed up early - every time. Despite having the sense that James had a lot of clients, we never had the sense that we were any less important than ones where he might earn a much higher commission. What I also really appreciated was that when we were looking at a property or talking to him, he was always focused on what we were doing right then - not taking other calls - not looking at other listings or appointments. He was there for us for sure. Not only reliable, James was relatable and lives in the area where he works and has for quite some time so there's no question he knows what's what in terms of neighborhoods, proximity to good schools / nightlife / transportation and other amenities that matter when choosing a home. He is also very experienced in the business so we had total fail in him to follow through with every aspect of the buying process.
