Sam is the best! He was our buyers agent and throughout the process he was always super on top of everything - excellent communication, excellent memory, honest, direct, basically everything you want when making a life altering decision. We were making the move from the East Bay to Santa Cruz and while we were looking for rentals we decided to look for houses to purchase at the same time. A friend recommended Sam and then we did some due diligence using AI to find realtors who have experience specific to the Westside - Sam was high on that list. Since inventory here is always very low, we knew we would probably be looking for a house that wasn't on the market yet. In the end, Sam was able to find us a house off-market on the lower westside, exactly as we'd hoped, and was able to negotiate a tricky long leaseback situation down into a standard transaction that was much less stressful to figure out. Sam got the deal locked in before other buyers had a chance to outbid us and we feel extremely lucky to have landed here. We still message Sam all the time asking for recommendations for local contractors to work with and he's super helpful and friendly all the time. 1000/10 would recommend to anyone.

Working with Sam Bird-Robinson and his team was a pleasure. They were very straight forward and organized explaining each step along the way. They took care of arranging all the inspections and work that needed to be done . Sam was there keeping us up to date throughout the sale. Any time we had a question or concern all we had to do was send a quick text on the Sam app and we would soon have a response. We appreciate the expertise of the whole team as well as associates Sam referred us to.

Great experience working with Sam and his staff regarding residential home on King Street in Santa cruz. Through his exceptional negotiation and advice regarding two offers we received a higher than asking selling price! Thanks again, Sam!!

Charlie and Sam helped us navigate a challenging market this past summer and sold our townhome in Scotts Valley within 60 days. I really hope we don't have to move again anytime soon, but highly recommend the Sam Bird-Robinson Compass team for your real estate needs and would definitely work with them again!!!

5 stars to Sam and his team. I love Sam's enthusiasm, knowledge, and determination to get the job done. Sam and his associates are so easy to work with. Special kudos to Nic! If you want to sell your home in a timely fashion this is who you wanna hire!
