Lisa Barall-Matt is an absolute rock star -- I cant imagine having gotten through the sale of my late mothers house with any other agent. She is amazingly experienced, knowledgeable, wise, insightful, dedicated, reliable, responsive, and unflappable. And we had circumstances that would have flapped a lesser agent. My mom had lived in her house for 64 years, the house was many decades overdue for updates, and I live 800 miles away, which made it impossible for me to handle any of the in-person tasks. Lisa provided expert guidance on what work was and wasnt worth doing to get the house ready for sale. She has a terrific network of reliable contractors, and she did all the legwork of contacting the contractors, meeting them at the house, taking estimates, arranging for the right work to be done in the right order, and overseeing the work. Thanks to Lisa, the house was under contract within days of being listed, with a contract price of $60K over list price. Lisa regularly went above and beyond the call of duty, cheerfully working nights and weekends to handle the challenges that came up. The biggest challenge was when a huge abandoned underground oil tank was discovered during the buyers inspection, threatening to derail the closing. Once again, Lisa did all the legwork -- identifying reputable companies (we needed both a tank-removal company and an HVAC company for this complicated project), reaching out to them, meeting them at the house, taking and evaluating estimates, and coordinating the work, all on extremely tight deadlines. The day before closing, she went down to town hall in person to make sure we obtained the official certification of the tank removal in time for closing. Closing happened right on schedule, and I am so grateful.

Lisa helped us find our dream home and then secure a purchase agreement for it.
