Like others have said, Melissa deserves more than 5*. We started our search for a new home March 13, 2020, the Friday before everything shut down for Covid that next Monday. We were working with another agent. We finally found a home that we loved, and put an offer on it in May. We did not get it, and realized afterwards that it was likely due to the Agents lack of experience in strong negotiating. We and the other buyer offered the same $ over asking. It took us til October to realize we needed to find a new agent. After interviewing several, we moved forward with Melissa.From the get-go, she was completely engaged with us, sending us listings the day after we sent her our "wish list". Each subsequent listing matched exactly what we conveyed were "must haves". She didn't bombard us with homes that were out of our range or did not fit what we were looking for. She understood we had been looking for 7 months and didn't want to settle. Less than two weeks of working with her, she sent us a listing that we knew was it. Long story short, of 15 (FIFTEEN) other offers, ours was chosen. We, unequivocally, know that it was HER negotiating skills and expertise that got us chosen. She made our offer stronger, and was as determined to get us the house, as if it was her own. Her efforts did not end there.Melissa was in touch with us every single day once we saw the home. She put us in touch with a fantastic lender that was just as competent as her (and reachable 24/7 like Melissa). She does not stop working for you. This attitude and service was completely different than our previous agent. While we closed on the home a week ago, her contact did not end there. She continues to follow up on any questions or help we need moving forward. A consummate professional.While we are viewing this purchase as our forever home, should we be in the market for an investment property, or if family/friends ask, we would - without hesitation- recommend Melissa.
