Lana eats, lives and breathes Real Estate! I interviewed several agents before her, but none of them was a match for me. I felt that I could trust her because at the very first meeting Lana was very straightforward and transparent! She is not pushy and very patient! She listens! Lana works all the time and always picks up the phone! As a first time home buyer, you might need a lot of attention and hand-holding. My recommendation would be to go with a full-service brokerage versus the discount brokerages, especially if this is your first time! Initially, I started working with a discount brokerage, and I realized that I need to switch to a full-service brokerage when I found the house that I liked and I called my agent at 7 PM, and she never responded. She never returned my call. I called the next day, but the house went pending!!! I learned the hard way, so that is why I recommend you to work with an agent who works around the clock and has assistance and team to support! The service that I got from Lana was not even comparable to what I got from the discount broker, and ..It cost me nothing! The commissions are paid by the sellers! I did no get a rebate or cashback from her(which is usually around $5000), but Lana helped me to save over $100, 000 with her negotiation skills and network in the real estate industry! I can't express enough how glad we are that we found Jim to help us find my children's dream home. From the first meeting itself, Jim demonstrated great professionalism while also being very friendly and conscious of our choices and interests. At no point in the buying process did he ever push us for any property. In fact, on many occasions, he has advised us against properties that we liked but were either on a busy street, or not so nice neighborhood, etc. In short, he always had our best interest in his mind and that always showed.Jim always ensured that we were comfortable with every offer that we made. We never felt any kind of rush. He was also always available what seemed to be 24/7 whenever we had questions or concerns which was amazing! He's responsive as well as understanding of the fact that home buying is a big step for most of us. He's been very patient throughout our buying process.
