He helped us refine our search, and showed us a variety of different kinds of homes. He gave us time to consider our options and didnt pressure us. When it came time to make an offer and negotiate, he seemed supremely adept at both the art and science of the whole process. He allowed space for the roller-coaster of emotions with such a big decision, and at the same time informed us clearly about the about the window of time we had to make certain decisions during negotiation, in order to be effective as buyers in the fast-paced San Francisco market. As we went into contract he explained the paperwork in detail and helped us navigate voluminous communication with the seller, the mortgage company and everyone else. He guided us to secure things that I wouldnt have thought of, for example a warranty for our first year in the home. This covered us, when, for example, the washer sold to us with the home needed maintenance, and when we wanted an upgrade to the front door lock. His thoughtfulness, attention to detail, and knowledge of realty in the Bay Area made this a smooth experience for us. We have lived in our new place six months now and are loving it.
