Before putting our home up for sale, we interviewed a few real estate agents and chose Alice Plato. She staged our 2,400 sf home at no extra cost to us, suggested a listing price higher than we had expected and, right on schedule, the "for sale" sign appeared in our front yard on the targeted date. An Open House attracted nearly 70 lookers and, believe it or not, the first couple who saw it -- bought it. Alice negotiated the longer escrow we needed, arranged the various necessary inspections and managed the escrow process to the point we never had to get involved. She was adept at resolving some snags with our buyers, as well as quick and calm in responding to a few pop-up issues. Our escrow closed on schedule and we were so pleased with Alice's representation of us that we broadcast our happiness to all of our neighbors and even invited her to our going-away party!

When we were looking to buy a home in Playa Del Rey, we interviewed a few different agents. Alice Plato had great reviews on Zillow and other sites, and we saw that she had a high volume of sales in the area. Compared to the other agents that we met, we liked her right away. She struck us as incredibly knowledgeable, professional, and honest. During our time working with her over the next two months, she got to know what we liked, and spent literally hours helping us weigh the pros and cons of each property we looked at and negotiate offers. I texted or called her whenever I had a question, and she was always professional, incredibly responsive, thoughtful, and endlessly patient! In a tough market with multiple offers on properties that we looked at, she guided us to get a first accepted offer on a multi-offer property that met every one of the criteria we had started out looking for! She has so many years of experience in the area. She knew every other agent and the dynamics of the market, and we ran into so many of her former clients and they all seem to love her. We have worked with Alice on two transactions and both have gone smoothly. The most recent one we put an offer on a house contingent on the sale of our current home. Though the seller wasnt accepting contingent offers initially, with Alices help she was able to negotiate our terms with them. We only had to have one open house and had an offer within a couple days which we accepted. The icing on the cake was the smooth transition of closing on both sales in one day.
