Working with Bernadette Rabel was one of best aspects of our entire home buying experience. I often hear of people complaining about real estate agents, claiming that they dont think theyre necessary, and that they could have gone through the whole process without one. This could not be further from the truth with Bernadette. From the get-go she understood exactly what we were looking for in our first house, and was always an efficient communicator. She is quick to respond (at just about any hour of the day), and quick to get showings set up (even with some particularly *unique* listings that we had shown interest in). When it came time to submit an offer, her thought process while coming up with a game plan felt pragmatic and resourceful, as her ability to come up with strong offers was more nuanced than just throwing out the highest number possible. Where Bernadette really shined was after our offer had been accepted. Inspections can often reveal hidden quirks in just about any real estate transaction- some of which may or may not be worth walking away from. In our case, we most certainly would have walked away if we did not have Bernadette on our side. She fought tooth and nail to ensure that every one of our terms was met, and that we could close with a deal that we were fully comfortable with. Even when things did get contentious and we were moments from walking away, Bernadette stood her ground and single-handedly kept the transaction afloat. Bernadette is the consummate professional, and I can guarantee you that she will have your back under most any circumstance that you might encounter during your home buying (or selling) journey.
