I sought the best realtor for selling my mom's house in Brookline, and I found him -- Eric Glassoff. Eric thoroughly assessed our property and the market, created a solid plan, properly set my expectations, and then worked every day to exceed them. He knows all the ropes, and most importantly, he has excellent contacts for everything I needed. He had excellent relationships with great contractors of all types: stagers, cleaners, movers, photographers, handymen, general fixers and I'm sure many other ones that I hadn't needed. His contractors were not only high quality and priced well, they jumped into action immediately when Eric called. Above all, communication was key for me. Eric stayed in touch with me and was easy to reach. He made me feel like I was his only client.We sold at the first open house, and got more than any of us hoped. Eric was a tremendous help and asset to our condo purchasing experience. As first time home-buyers, we had many questions and reservations about the home buying process, especially given the competitive nature of the Boston area. It was obvious from our first conversation that Eric had extensive knowledge of the market, and he was able to offer advice regarding price points, timelines, neighborhoods, and strategies. He always responded to our requests, questions, and concerns rapidly, and he completed all paperwork efficiently and effectively. Eric always offered his insights and advice in a way that was truly not pushy but was instead incredibly helpful. The Boston real-state market is a different beast. Luckily, we found Erik, who not only helped us find and buy a home we love, but also educated us through the entire process. First, he helped us calibrate our expectations by lining up many private showings in a very few days. After that, once we had a better picture in mind, he was extremely quick at getting us in the houses that were appearing in the market. When we finally found the one, he helped us negotiate the right price and eventually get the home we wanted at the price we were willing to pay. Everything that followed went very quickly (we closed in less than 30 days), as we he is very well connected to equally recommendable attorneys, home inspectors, and pretty much any other person you might need. Changing jobs, cities and homes in just 2-3 months can be a very stressful process, but certainly we were able to get the home hunting process done very smoothly thanks to Eric and, thus, we very strongly recommend him.
