My husband and I had a mission: find a place on the water - a little bit country; a place to leave our headaches 60 miles behind and at a cost of LESS THAN 100,000 bucks! It was a tall order, further complicated when we found our perfect place and wanted to close so quickly the owners heads were spinning! Time was definitely an issue. My husband would be entering the hospital for bypass surgery in two weeks. And here's the challenging place Realtor Summer Alvis entered our lives . . ..The place we fell in love with is smack on the Withlacoochee River - a *stilt* house with a closed in underneath, shown with furniture throughout. Living 60 miles away, Ms Alvis and I had to use some fancy moves to accommodate the buyers, as well as us. She's very quick to email, text, or phone you with critical issues or just the right word to sooth jittery nerves. The sellers wanted an offer on the furniture, and at first seemed unhappy with our dollar figure. But Ms Alvis has a way that puts one at ease, her sunny disposition and professionalism always fresh and conciliating. She worked smartly between both parties, finding the perfect middle ground to satisfy everyone. As an aside, for those who live out of town, Ms Alvis provides electronic signature technology through Docusign. Because of our situation, we were privileged to be the first clients to use this program with her! The method is a real time saver.Our experience with Summer Alvis was a fun pleasure, and yes, we would certainly use her services again. She's thorough, knowledgeable, and excels in flexibility - all, in our opinion, the mark of a very good realtor.

We have been delighted with Summer Alvis since we first met. She is most congenial, polite,courteous, and thorough. She had no issues following my need for her to not wear any perfumes, colognes, or lotions and any other fragrances that would trigger medical reactions on my part. I suffer from Multiple Chemical Sensitivity Disorder or MCSD. This is a most difficult thing for a woman used to wearing such items. And my sensitivity is such that she cannot wear it at all that day we are to meet until after our appointment. That means she has to make a difficult decision whether to work with us or let someone else deal with us, She did not hesitate for a second. She even takes it upon upon herself to make sure the other agents we meet knows our situation. She seems to have boundless energy and goes the extra mile trying to work with us within my many areas of concern mostly due to my medical issues. I am disabled and need to make sure the home we get is handicap accessible for my power wheel chair. She proactively filters out any home with issues of concern to me such as Mold, mildew, homes smoked in, petroleum smells and harsh chemicals, including many common cleaning supplies etc are not being used before or during our appointment. Thankfully that has not yet been a problem.In spite of the fact that my medical issues and our restrictions on what we want in a home, our last home, makes her job difficult she has been the consummate professional in every thing she does for us. She is always positive, up beat, understanding, and considerate at all times We felt as though we were friends straight away and will always recommend her anytime we hear of someone wanting to buy or sell a house. We haven't yet found our perfect retirement home but not for lack of searching on her part. She is always going above and beyond what is required of her. We are still looking for our perfect home and Summer is still working hard to help us find it.We believe her actions and responses have brought great credit upon herself, her colleagues, other agents, and Century 21. She should be commended for taking in, and staying with, a couple who are very difficult to work with, not personally, but because of our many needs that are not common. It makes her task all that much harder.I was a Realtor for four years and I can say without a doubt, she is one of the best of the best.
