From the outset in meeting Seth, he has demonstrated nothing but the height of professionalism. I have been working with Seth since April, 2015, and in this time he has: been extremely knowledgable about not only the properties themselves, but about all the myriad of extraneous nuances surrounding the housing market and relocating (such as interviewing builders, local ordinances, job markets, city touring, etc); gone above and beyond what I would assume his "job description" to be ... such as attending many sales and related meetings with me to make sure I was comfortable and understood all the processes involved; been prompt and thorough in all of his communications with me, both by phone and by email; and furthermore, he is a true gentleman and a delight to interact with. Buying a house is complicated and stressful. Buying a house 500 miles away from home is especially stressful, fortunately, we were lucky enough to find Seth. Our initial contact was via email and then phone. He immediately responded to all my questions for each of the houses I found online. He quickly picked up on what our preferences were and sent his recommendations. We met Seth once after selecting the plethora of houses we wanted to tour. Seth met us on a Saturday morning and was very professional and personable. His level of organization really impressed my husband and I. He knew we had limited time and a lot of ground to cover. Seth took us out again on Sunday once we narrowed the selection down to three houses. He provided all the information we asked for and never pressured us for a sale. Negotiations happened two days after returning home. Seth relayed all our questions, concerns and provided prompt answers. Before we knew it, we had a beach house on our hands at a great price. During the closing process, he ensured inspections were done properly and even went out to the house to alleviate our concerns with some potential electrical issues. He provided all the utility, property management and insurance information to ensure a smooth transition. He was literally our eyes and ears throughout the whole process. We have purchased multiple homes and Seth was exceptional. Seth Barbee went well above and beyond a typical real estate agent.
