Phil Kreis represented me, as the buyer, with my recent home purchase right after COVID-19 hit in 2020. The market had shifted into an extreme seller's market. Over a four-month period, we put offers in on seven or so properties and arrived at a "reasonably fair" price on my final home even though the market conditions were favorable to the seller. I was not looking to overpay for a house, so I was able and willing to wait for the right house and price. Phil worked really hard to negotiate the sale price due to a roof that needed to be replaced as well as some other "aging" infrastructure. The sellers agent on the property I bought lacked the knowledge to get the deal done. Just because someone is a realtor doesnt mean they know what they are doing. Phil had to explain the contract and transaction process to the sellers agent every step of the way. Phil is very personable and was a delight to work with. He always responded timely to phone calls and emails and was on top of scheduling inspections as well as contacting other professionals for questions, i.e., I had safety concerns with an old electric panel. I feel he was looking out for my best interest and not just to get a transaction done. He did a wonderful job getting the deal done and made it fun along the way.

We first interviewed three potential real estate agents when we were going to sell our house. Phil was the only agent that said he could sell the house at a good price -- the other two wanted to go with a low price and get buyers into a price war. When you hire an agent, you want someone who can sell your house at the highest price and present the house in the best possible light. Phil was the only one who would do this. Anyone can sell a house for a "low ball" price, but it takes a real pro to get the most for your house. Also Phil told us exactly what we needed to do to get the house ready for sell. He always responded to our questions quickly and always gave great advise. He held several open houses and always kept the house clean. He took beautiful pictures and made a very nice video of the house. The presentation was superb. In the end we got a much higher price for the house then our asking price, and all the paperwork went quickly and smoothly. I don't think anyone could have done a better job then Phil. We highly recommend him, we thank him and we give him 5 stars for this.
