Ruben Perez is a seasoned Mortgage Loan Originator with more than 25 years of experience in the mortgage industry, helping homebuyers secure financing while supporting real estate professionals in getting transactions closed efficiently and on time. Ruben has focused on originating residential loans while building strong partnerships with local Realtors who value responsiveness, transparency, and creative problem-solving. Over the course of his career, Ruben has originated and participated in more than 1,000 mortgage transactions across a wide range of financing programs. His deep understanding of underwriting guidelines, income analysis, and loan structuring allows him to identify potential issues early and keep transactions moving forward smoothly. Prior to joining loanDepot, Ruben held senior lending and leadership roles with several nationally recognized mortgage companies, gaining extensive experience in both loan origination and mortgage operations. Fully bilingual in English and Spanish, Ruben can serve a broader community of homebuyers while helping his real estate partners expand their reach. He is known for clear communication, proactive updates, and a hands-on approach that keeps both clients and agents informed throughout the entire loan process. Outside of work, Ruben enjoys spending time outdoors, playing guitar, attending live concerts, and making memories with his family--especially at theme parks and other fun adventures.
