ZillowVERIFIED This market has been crazy. Houses were gone before we even got a chance to look at them or having good offers rejected as we were competing with multiple offers. Initially, we were working with a realtor who made us feel like we were asking for too much because she told us to let her know when we wanted to go see houses or when we saw something we liked. However, when we did, she took days or even weeks to respond. Yolanda was recommended to us as I voiced my frustrations to colleagues. What a difference! What a god send! She responded to any and everything that we asked. Offered the best advice. Got us in to see whatever we wanted to see. During our phone conversations, he shared advice and pointers provided by our realtor and how he trusted her ability to find us the perfect home. When I finally met Yolanda in-person, I completely understood why he spoke so highly of her. By the end of our homebuying process, Yolanda was more like family! Yolanda is patient, honest, resourceful, professional and has a great sense of humor. These are all qualities that make for a FABULOUS Realtor!My fiancA(C) and I required a TON of guidance, and at no point did Yolanda rush or pressure us in making a decision. In fact, there were a couple of times that we insisted on seeing a home, after being warned by Yolanda that the posted pictures werent telling the true story of home condition. We would arrive at the home and see staged furniture covering holes in the floor, unfinished duct heating and ceilings, and badly installed cabinets. We learned quickly that if Yolanda shared that it was a dump, it was a dump. I appreciate that she is a straight shooter. When we had an issue (not the result of something she did) she was happy to step in and facilitate a solution. There were times that my fiancA(C) and I disagreed, and we would ask her. Yolanda would always provide a straight and honest answer. What I appreciate most about Yolanda is her professionalism. She answered the phone when she could, returned phone calls timely and answered text messages. Her paperwork and documentation was thorough and she explained every step to us in plain language. At closing she provided us with the cutest postcards to send to our friends and family, and a notebook. Our family loved the postcards and I have found the notebook to be extremely useful. She listed my house in January and I had an offer within the first week, which I and the bank had accepted. Settlement was made quickly in May. I highly recommend Yolanda as she is very knowledgeable of the market and short sale process. She was very responsive and kept me up to date on every detail in a timely manner.
