Since she is a Tahoe local and has been representing buyers and sellers there for 20+ years, she is extremely knowledgeable about each micro-neighborhood and can really give fantastic insight and education on the pros and cons of each one, as well as how local regulations impact each property. This was especially helpful for out-of-town buyers like my husband and I. Because of her long career in Tahoe, she also has forged deep connections to other realtors in the area, which is extremely useful in a competitive market where every bit of additional intel on a property helps. We went into escrow the day before Memorial Day weekend in 2020, and the market went absolutely crazy immediately thereafter - we are so grateful for her wise counsel, which helped us to determine exactly when to stop negotiating and lock our desired home down. She is also extremely patient - my husband and I had been looking at homes with her for a year before we settled on our perfect match. She looked enthusiastically for us the entire time and had a really good understanding of what we wanted, so we always felt like our trips up from the Bay Area to house hunt were worthwhile and educational. ZillowVERIFIED Wendy is Awesome! She helped sell our home and buy another home simultaneously near Tahoe City, which was complicated by a "for sale by owner" on the property we were buying. Because the seller had no professional representation, their was a real possibility the deal could fall through, but Wendy was able keep the seller informed and on track to fulfill their responsibilities. In the end, it worked out beautifully, we sold our home in two weeks and closed ahead of time on our purchased home.
