ZillowVERIFIEDWe worked with Wayne and his team for 6 months to buy a home in Waynesboro. His years of experience are evident in the wisdom and skills he provided to us concerning structural integrity of properties and mechanical operations. He is polite and friendly, with a great sense of humor. Working well with us as homebuyers and communicating with seller agents. He bridged our 2-hour distance gap with exceptional communication skills, availability and follow through with attention to detail and phone calls. We highly recommend The Berkstresser Realty Group!

ZillowVERIFIED Wayne did a wonderful job assisting us not only with the sale of our old home, but also the purchase of our new home. His knowledge of the local market was instrumental in determining a competitive selling price as well as purchasing price. He was totally involved in all aspects of the sale including solving a problem with an adjoining lot. Wayne and his entire staff were very friendly and helpful in guiding us through the selling and buying process. We would highly recommend them.

ZillowVERIFIED Wayne and Jackie helped us sell our house and buy a new one. Twenty five years later, they helped us sell that house and buy another. We wanted to make some improvements to the newest house before we moved in but in these times, we couldn't find anyone to work with our schedule. Wayne coordinated work with a painter, electrician and flooring people to make it all happen. Wayne, Jackie and Christy did a great job for us and we highly recommend them.

ZillowVERIFIED Wayne and Jackie Berkstresser were so very helpful in our search to relocate to Pennsylvania. Wayne was very accommodating in making arrangements for us to view homes that were of interest to our needs. He also suggested and showed us properties that we were not aware of in the area. We were very apperceptive of Waynes professionalism. We did have an inspection of the home scheduled before we made a final decision. On that date, Wayne came by and met the inspector, offering to answer any inquiries that may arise during the review. He responded to our phone calls, no matter what time of the day. The staff was also very helpful in answering questions and guiding us through the paperwork that was involved. We had a settlement date of December 24th. Wayne was able to coordinate with all the necessary parties to be present for the finalization of the sale. We have called Wayne since the purchase of our home to ask advice related to letters we had received in the mail. His office is most helpful in answering our questions and always had a pleasant demeanor. The Berkstresser Realty Group provided a personal touch and a Christmas wish. They gifted us a personalized tote, return address labels, cards, and a beautiful poinsettia plant for our new home. We will always have fond memories of Christmas Eve 2020. We have referred the Berkstresser Realty Group to two other persons thinking about moving to PA within the next year.

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I were first time home buyers and to say that we were clueless is an understatement. Jackie was recommended to me by a friend and colleague. My husband and I were hesitant to start the process and did not even plan on buying a home at the time. Jackie was amazing and explained the process step by step to us. She made us feel very comfortable the entire time never once putting us under any pressure to buy. Jackie was always very honest about each house and helped us to understand the differences in houses, builders, materials, etc. We grew to trust Jackie very much and she helped us to find the perfect house. I always felt like she was "on our side"; researching and recommending the best banks with the best interest rates at the time. I felt like Jackie went above and beyond for us! You hear all of these horror stories about the process in buying a home. Even on closing everything went completely smooth and that was all thanks to Jackie and the team she helped us put together to buy a home. I recommend the Berkstresser group 110% and my husband and I would not be in our perfect home without them!

ZillowVERIFIED My husband and I enjoyed working with Wayne throughout the process of selling our house and buying another one. He was very responsive to our specific needs and requests. When we bought our house there was multiple offers on the property and we were a little nervous that we may not get the house that we loved. Wayne used his expertise in the filed to ensure that it would be our home and we became the happy buyers of the house! Even though this can be a stressful time to sell a house and then turn right around a buy a house, Wayne made the process fun along the way. My husband and I would highly recommend Wayne for any of your realty needs.

ZillowVERIFIED My home sale was complicated for a couple of reasons -- I lived 850 miles away and the property needed repairs -- but Wayne Berkstresser made it seem easy and stress-free. He found people to paint, replace carpets and refinish a wood floor, and he arranged general cleanup and repairs, all very quickly. I worried about leaving the house empty, so he stopped by regularly to make sure everything was working smoothly. Because of his honest feedback, my expectations were realistic, and he was always cheerful, calm, optimistic, and happy to handle my concerns. It was super reassuring. Bottom line: We were very happy with our final deal, and have him to thank for it.

Wayne listened to my needs and provided sound guidance regarding how to best present the house. He was very understanding when my timelines changed. The photos Wayne took of the property inside and outside were extremely complimentary and highlighted the best features. Calls, emails and requests were always answered promptly by Wayne or Christy. ZillowVERIFIED Jackie helped us sell our home and search for and buy another. Although there were bumps in the road, Jackie and Christy helped us through each one. Some of those bumps in the road seemed massive, but they went above and beyond to get us through it smoothly. The Berkstresser team knows their stuff, and the crazy things we came up against that they hadn't seen before, they found out for us. They even went the extra mile, staying on top of our buyers' agent & bank, and arranging an inspection that shouldn't have been their problem, when it became necessary, to get the deal done in as timely a manner as possible. Ultimately, they got our home sold and found the perfect new home for us at just the right time. We feel that we will be in our new home for a long time, but if we do ever need to buy and sell again, we will call Jackie, Wayne, and Christy to help us through the process.

ZillowVERIFIED I had a very good experience with Wayne Berkstresser. I was not from the area but needed to sell a relative's home. Wayne provided me excellent guidance on individuals to help me have an estate action, repair some cabinets, do some minor painting, etc. to provide me the best effort to sell the house. I as nearly 8 hours away and he routinely checked the house for me, kept me strategically informed on what actions he was taking to sell the home. Also, he gave me proper recommendation on when to adjust the selling price, etc. His office quickly addressed any of my requests and provided me assistance to minimize my time involvement. Great job!
