Before I could start discussing the purchasing options I wanted to bring up, Waly directly lets me know, "this is not a house you want to buy my friend." There was something so genuine about his response that it took me back as this was a home I was looking to buy and I had had many experiences with different agents who would never say this when a client is ready to buy on the spot. But this was Waly, someone who genuinely cares about what is best for his client in a way that isn't seen often. Waly isn't aiming to go for the "quick win" and make a quick buck, he looks to set you up for success in a long term manner at the house that will bring you the best living experience you can have. After Waly was able to pinpoint the price, location, and quality of home that I ended up putting an offer on 2 weeks later, the dedication and responsiveness that Waly displayed to ensure we were continually on the same page was astounding. I was taking night classes that ended at 10pm, and Waly would schedule calls after that time to discuss anything related to the home purchase, escrow, and closing cost negotiations. Waly would go beyond the line of duty to ensure that I was getting the best deal and wouldn't let me overbid or take any extra costs during the process itself. Instead of a 30-day close, Waly was able to get all parties on the same page and help us close the loan almost 20 days early - a feat an agent doesn't have to do, but he did to meet a tight timeline I had to move out of where I was living. Moving past the home purchase, Waly's service didn't end there! 2 months later he is still checking in to ensure that everything is going well with the home, recommending the best places in town to eat at, and still assisting with providing the right people to help me. My A/C wasn't working - Waly called in a specialist to help. My plumbing was having an issue - Waly called in a specialist to fix it an extremely low cost. He is very good at his job and knows how to logically make strategic offers when purchasing a home. We made an offer on a bank owned house and were competing against four other offers. He makes himself extremely available to his clients and is always ready to go see properties (he even came out in the 4th of July to do the final walkthrough of the home we bought). He got us a great deal on the house we bought, which is no small feat in the Bay area market. I highly recommend working with Waly.
