About Vicki Harvey

Vicki is a 18 year veteran as a Realtor. She has been through the good, the bad and the extremely ugly! She is licensed in both Florida and South Carolina. Before becoming a Realtor Vicki was an appraiser. Vicki also owned her own transportation company for 15 years in the Miami and Key Largo area of South Florida. Prior to that Vicki worked in the food industry business as an outside sale representative for Sysco Foods.
Vicki is an advocate in continuing education to stay on top of this fast paced industry that is always changing.
Vicki is both an experienced listing specialist and buyers agent. She specializes on residential single family homes, condominiums and land. Her clients are first time home buyers, vacation/second home buyers, retirees and investors.
Originally from Burlington Wisconsin Vicki has lived in this area for 12 years and calls the "Grand Strand" and Myrtle Beach her home. Vicki's Midwest work ethic stands out and above others. She has integrity is professional, dedicated, dependable, sincere, driven and most of all successful! Vicki cares about the people she represents and listens carefully to what her clients expect. Ask them if they have been pre-approved to purchase a home. If they haven't I would give the phone number for Alpha Mortgage so they could talk with Nathan and get their pre-approval that way I could be sure that I only showed them homes that they could afford. I would ask them to give me a list of what is important to them, in their new home, to help me find them the perfect home according to their needs/wants.
You can never make another first impression to a buyer looking at your home. Curb appeal, depersonalize, declutter, organize and stage your home to get it SOLD. Price it right the first time. The longer it sits on the market the less you will get for it. List at a determined price and if you don't get any showings or any offers within the first 3-4 weeks the market is telling you that it may be overpriced.

I received a referral, from a past client, for an older lady that was moving to our area from Indiana. I helped her get her financing lined up. Showed her about 10 properties before we found the perfect home. Helped her unpack her boxes and had my husband hang all of her photos. She taught me how to play bridge and we have lunch or dinner at least once a month together. She is one of my good friends now.
I was an apprentice appraiser for 1 year prior to getting my real estate license. I love style, design, architecture and working with people. It just made sense and now 18 years later I am still loving it!
Being a past apprentice appraiser. I have an ABR accreditation and a Certified Distressed Property Expert designation. I am working on my CRS and my GRI. Our association stopped bringing in the classes for while so it's taking longer than anticipated.
