Question 1

1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

Accepted Answer

Get pre-approved before you start looking, so you know your real budget. On the Gulf Coast, ask about flood zones, windstorm insurance, and HOA fees early. Those costs can change your monthly payment a lot. Visit the area at different times of day and year, because a quiet street in October can feel different in July. Take your time, ask every question, and work with someone who knows the area well.

Question 2

2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

Accepted Answer

Price it right from day one. A home priced too high sits, and buyers start to wonder why. Fix the small things, clean deep, and clear out clutter so buyers can picture themselves living there. Good photos matter, since most buyers see your home online first. If you have lived there a long time, give yourself time to sort and pack. You don’t have to do it all at once, and I’ll walk you through each step.

Question 3

3. What types of clients have you worked with?

Accepted Answer

I work with people moving here to retire or downsize, second-home buyers, luxury waterfront buyers, investors, and sellers. I live at the beach myself, so I understand why people want to call the Gulf Coast home. I’m happy to help anyone buying or selling in Gulf Shores, Orange Beach, Foley, Elberta, and Baldwin County, AL, plus Perdido Key and Pensacola, FL.

Question 4

4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

Accepted Answer

Needs Valerie. See the note below.

Question 5

5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Accepted Answer

I started in real estate in June 1989. That’s 37 years of helping people buy and sell homes. Today I’m a broker with Dalton Wade Real Estate Group in Gulf Shores, AL. I live at the beach, so I know the coastal lifestyle firsthand, not just the listings.

Question 6

6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Accepted Answer

My best training is 37 years of experience. That helps with the hard parts: pricing a home right, reading contracts, handling inspections, and answering insurance questions before they become problems. I also live on the coast, so I know these neighborhoods and what it really costs to own a home here.
