We got in right away to see it and put an offer in that same night. Because of Vals local knowledge and negotiating skills we found out we got the house the same night! There were a few times where I would get stressed (lets face it, dealing with large amounts of money and home inspections, etc. can be stressful!) and Val was a calm and reassuring voice throughout the whole time. She was able to get me more than the asking price and handled all of the issues regarding selling my property that still had tenants in it. There were a few bumps in the road due to the buyers having loan issues, but Val was able to negotiate additional terms to put me in a great position in the event the sale fell through! She constantly kept me updated on the entire process and made the sale such a pleasant experience. She has such a great personality!!!! On a search of the areas we were looking to potentially buy was a house that was seemIngly perfect. I reached out to the agent listing the house and it was Val and Chris. Although there were parameters set that we could ultimately not meet (pre-qualification), we received guidance as to when to enter the market and steps needed to take to become buyers in a competitive market. From that moment on, we knew they were very pleasant because they werent working for us yet and still took the time to speak with us. Val and Chris are absolutely friendly, very genuine, and down to earth people. Their experienced negotiation tactics were used to help us secure an absolutely beautiful house. I can personally attest that the glowing reviews contained in Zillow are all true. They quickly set up our search parameters in MLS and we immediately received listings that we were interested in. They were very flexible with showing houses and were able to meet us on our schedule. We were initially looking for houses in the Frederick area but then changed our mind and found a house we liked in Southern MD. Despite the 2 hour drive, Val and Chris were happy to show us houses in other areas. They were extremely responsive and kept us informed of everything going on throughout the entire home buying process. Having a team of 2 Agents that worked as a team was an outstanding experience. Val was very knowledgeable and able to come up with a realistic time frame for the sale. She had so many insights on what would make our house sell and suggestions for how to accommodate viewings with me working from home. She was very prompt in answering my list of daily questions. We had showings lined up within an hour of putting our house on the market! Within 3 days we had so many offers, it was hard to keep track. And then Val was able to guide us through which offer to select. I know the housing market is hot right now but credit needs to be given to Val for the quick sale.
