Working with Val from our first meeting through settlement was the best experience we ever couldve imagined in selling our home. Our home sold above asking price on the second day it was listed. Val did a thorough assessment of homes recently sold in our area and recommended the listing price. After that he provided every possible resource we needed to downsize and sell our house having lived in it for over 40 years. He helped us find a short term apartment lease while we look for a home in Maryland to be closer to her son and daughter-in-law. We highly recommend Val and his team.

We closed in about three weeks, maybe less. He did so well that I decided to contract with him to sell my other property. Additionally, he was always there to give excellent advice and guidance; including but not limited to ways on obtaining credit from the seller for certain things and inaccuracies. Also, because of his expertise in his field, he knows of programs for first time homeowners; and will recommend top professionals to assist in the process (ie lenders, home inspection companies, etc)I'm not an easy person to please, and can be very difficult; however, Brian always exhibited his professionalism; and never showed he was frustrated with me with all of my questions, follow-ups, suggestions, etc. One thing I loved about working with Brian was that he was always available for appointments; and made a conscious effort to follow up with me if he was running late and provided an ETA.The overall process seemed a breeze and this is attributable to Brian. I really didnt know what I was getting in (I just knew I wanted to get into it); however, I'm grateful I had Brian at my side to help me along with this journey.

ZillowVERIFIED I've used Val for several real estate transactions over the years. He has listed properties for my family for sale and has listed several rentals for me. On my last transaction with me he provided me with a tenant that he knew was incapable of paying rent. The story is that he accepted the first month's rent in uncertified funds that were later returned for insufficient funds. By the time I was alerted to the situation the lease was signed and the tenant had already occupied the property. Additionally Val provided me with a background check given to him by the tenant. This background check stated that there were no evictions; I later discovered the tenant had a prior eviction. This fact would have been clear had Val performed a background check.. This was all done without my knowledge and resulted in a deadbeat tenant that took several months to evict and caused over $10,000 in damage to the property. After evicting the tenant, I contacted Val and asked that his commission be returned. His boss Connie has repeatedly ignored my emails and phone calls after saying that her legal team would contact me.. The bottom line if you are his client beware of poor business practices and ethics - be ready for pain after the transaction closes.
