ZillowVERIFIED Umaima was very professional. She worked with me closely to understand what kind of property I was looking for. She prepared a long list of options for me to look at and showed me many of the properties. Once I decided on a few properties she was very knowledgeable about the process and was very diligent when reaching out to landlords/agents in getting a quick response. Overall, she went above and beyond what I expected. She is definitely someone you want on your team when looking for a place to live in NYC.

ZillowVERIFIED Let me start by just saying Umema is the absolute best! She helped us find our first home which was a co-op and now we are officially home owners thanks to her efforts in helping us find our perfect home. She stands apart from other real estate agents as she treats you like family and makes you feel supported throughout your search. My husband and I loved working with her. There are a few things that really stood out to me that I find important when working with someone while in search for your home. The first thing is she is very patient, before finally finding our dream home we scheduled many house visits with Umema, she never rushed us, nor was pushy. She actually encouraged us to take our time and see all of our options. She is very professional and punctual, we never had to wait for her to meet us and was always prepared with information to hand to us before seeing each house. While viewing homes, she gave helpful tips shes gathered through her experience and really guided us in helping us narrow down what we were actually looking for in a home. Another great thing about Umema is that she actually listens to what you are looking for, not just showing houses left and right but shows you houses based on your preferences (being pregnant I appreciated her really narrowing down our search). We never felt ignored, she would always send listings and follow up or check in and make sure we were all on the same page when it came to things like the neighborhoods, the budget etc. Umema is the first and only person I think of recommending when friends and family are searching for a home and the only person I myself would contact if we are ever in search of another home. You really wont find a better agent.

She always let us know when a new house came on the market and kept us apprised about available appointments. From making the offer to closing the deal, she explained everything in a way that was easy to understand. Umena was incredibly helpful through the entire Sales Process through Closing. She often went out of her way to help us sell our home. Due to COVID-19, the sales process was a bit tricky as we had remote learning. Besides being an exceptional Real Estate Agent, Umena is a genuinely nice lady! If I could give her 10 Stars I would.

ZillowVERIFIED Umema was very helpful throughout our housing process. We met her at an open house; she was the seller's real estate agent. We loved the apartment and although we didn't get it, Umema's kind and helpful demeanor made us want to keep contact with her. We saw a few other apartments through her and when we finally came across our "dream apartment", Umema helped us every step of the way. As first time home buyers, we had a lot of questions and needed support throughout the whole process (making an offer, filling out co-op applications, etc). We would definitely recommend working with her as we will in the future.
