ZillowVERIFIED Twana has been an exceptional agent. As a first-time home buyer and beginner investor, I was trapped in the analysis paralysis phase that we all I have before starting our journey. Twana has been extremely helpful every step of the way. Originally, I was stuck in a position where I eagerly wanted to start real estate investing purchase a rental property. But I also needed a place to live and to get out of renting. I live in San Diego and with the prices here and only so much available capital, l I was considering buying a SFH and using the remaining capital to look into out of state investing. I had considered house hacking before but I just couldn't find a nice multi-family property in San Diego that is in a good area. I have a wife and expecting a child and needed somewhere that they could feel safe. And that's where Twana showed me that it was possible. He revealed to me how is currently house hacking a duplex in San Diego and that he also had a family so a safe location was important to him. This was how I knew that he understood what I was looking for since we shared similar familial living situations. From there he sent me multiple listings of properties that would fit my category and was quick and efficient with all of my requests. We eventually put an offer for a duplex in an area that had huge potential growth in SD. It was my first time going through an offer and he guided me and explained everything throughout the whole process. The first offer eventually didn't fall through, we both didn't like the direction the seller was going with their counters. So, we called it quits on that one and decided to move on. Just as we moved on from the first offer, he instantly sent me a listing that just popped onto the market that very same day. This listing was an even better opportunity than the first one and we were able to move quickly and have them accept our offer before they even got to their weekend showings. In this hot sellers market, it was amazing that we did not have to get into a bidding war with other buyers. Throughout the escrow process Twana has been responsive and informative on the whole process. He was able to negotiate for us and get the seller to agree to the whole request for seller credits to fix up a few minor things on the property. We were able to close on our property in a little under 3 weeks and are excited to get started on making this property both our first home and investment property.
