Q: 1. What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?

I always tell my buyers clarity and preparation are everything. Before you start touring homes, take the time to really define what home means for you. What lifestyle are you building? What communities fit that? Once you’ve got that picture, get your financing in order early so you’re ready to act when the right home appears, because in markets like Scottsdale and Paradise Valley, the best homes move quickly. I also encourage buyers to educate themselves on the market — that’s where I come in. I love walking clients through the numbers, trends, and comparable sales so they feel confident and informed. And don’t forget, technology can make this easier. My team created The Gore App so clients can monitor listings, schedule showings, and chat directly with us in real time. Buying a home should be exciting, not overwhelming, and with the right strategy and support, it absolutely can be.

Q: 2. What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?

The most important thing is to start with your why. Are you upsizing, downsizing, relocating - and when do you want to move? Once I know that, we can price and position your home strategically to meet your goals. Presentation is huge. Today’s buyers shop with their eyes first, so decluttering, staging, and great photography are non-negotiable. I use professional marketing - photos, video, social media, and my global network through Coldwell Banker Luxury - to give every home the attention it deserves. And pricing correctly from the start is key. The market will tell us where the sweet spot is, and my job is to help you land there confidently. Once we go live, my team and I manage every step - from showings to offers to closing - so you can focus on your next chapter.

Q: 3. What types of clients have you worked with?

I work with a pretty wide range of clients - from first-time buyers who are thrilled to get the keys to their very first home, to luxury sellers with multimillion-dollar estates in Paradise Valley or Scottsdale. I also do a lot of work with relocation clients coming from out of state - often from California, Washington, or the Midwest - who are looking for that perfect Arizona lifestyle. What I’ve found is that regardless of price point, everyone wants the same thing: to feel heard, informed, and represented. That’s my focus with every client.

Q: 4. Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?

One of my favorites was helping a couple move here from out of state. They couldn’t be in Arizona for most of the process, so I previewed homes for them, sent detailed videos, and walked them through everything virtually. We found them a home that checked every box - mountain views, great community, and within their budget - and they closed within a month. They told me afterward that they felt like I was “their eyes and ears” here in Scottsdale, and that meant the world to me. Real estate is personal - you’re helping people start a new chapter - and moments like that remind me why I love what I do.

Q: 5. How did you get started in Real Estate?

Real estate has been in my blood since day one. I grew up in a real-estate family in Seattle, so it was part of my world from an early age. But before jumping in, I actually earned my Master’s degree in Teaching from Washington State University and even worked for Howard Schultz at Starbucks. That experience taught me a ton about leadership, marketing, and delivering exceptional client experiences. When I transitioned into real estate, it felt like a natural fit - I could blend my love of people, education, and marketing all into one career. I’ve been doing it ever since, and I honestly can’t imagine doing anything else.

Q: 6. Do you have any special education or training that will benefit your clients?

Absolutely. My teaching background has been such an asset — I love educating clients and breaking down complex parts of the process so it all feels manageable and clear. I’m also a Certified Luxury Property Specialist, which gives me access to advanced marketing tools and global exposure through Coldwell Banker Luxury. On top of that, I’m always learning — from market analytics to digital marketing strategies. Real estate is constantly evolving, and I want my clients to always have the most current information and resources at their fingertips.

I can't say enough good things about having Trish as our Realtor. Since we were buying out of state, we were a little nervous about not being able to be there for all the things that need to get done when looking for and purchasing a property. Trish took care of everything and then some. She was a wealth of knowledge on the local market, made walk through videos of every property we were interested in, recommended and organized all of the visits for inspectors, contractors, interior decorators, etc. She even went as far as to test all of the electronics and appliances in the home and made video instructions for how to use them. When it came down to negotiation time, Trish was very thorough and realistic and through some very creative & hard work, got us the deal we needed to be able to close the deal. Throughout the entire process Trish was super responsive and very pleasant to work with. There wasn't a question she couldn't answer. If you're looking for a home in the Phoenix area, I can't imagine how you could do better than Trish. She's just fantastic!

Trish has been a tremendous help to us while we navigate our move from California to Arizona. Prior to meeting us she had already set up several FaceTime calls and even went and previewed homes for us and sent us videos so we could get an idea of the home. When I was out there looking for a home she blocked 2 full days to drive me around. We saw several homes but none felt right. Instead of pushing us she quickly shifted gears and found us a rental so we could settle in and familiarize ourselves with the area before resuming our home search. She helped us with our lease as well as did a video walkthrough of the rental so we had records of any previous damage. I really appreciate her and love working with her. My fiancA(C) and I used Trish to purchase our first home and we are so happy with our experience. When we decided that we were ready to purchase a home we started just driving around the neighborhoods we liked and walking into open houses; thats where we met Trish. She was very attentive, professional, knowledgeable of the area, and understanding. My fiancA(C) and I decided that we wanted to purchase a historic home with the majority of the original features still in tact (original floors, doors, etc.). That type of home is somewhat difficult to find in Phoenix. However, all of the homes Trish showed us were historic and still had the original features, it was amazing.
