Our plan was to be in a house by January 2020 and with Alie's help we moved into a house (that far exceeded our expectations for our first home) in July 2019. Alie was there every step of the way, answered every question, made sure we understood every step, and had thorough house showings. My husband and I never felt like we couldn't talk open and honestly about houses in front of or with Alie. We were impressed enough to also have her represent us on the sale of our current home. It could be argued that our house would "sell itself" given the circumstances, but Tricia made the entire process much easier for us from pictures/listings to open houses and showings, offers and right through closing. She was proactive in handling the town water department when they needed entry into the house and helped me manage the many steps necessary to prepare for closing. She also saved me from making a potentially big mistake by following up on something I agreed to in an email before my response got to the buyers. After having to leave another agent due to their lack of results, my partner and I were afraid the home-buying process was going to be a drawn out nightmare, however we reached out to Lear Realty group and soon after met with Brian at their Westford office. Right away we were put at ease with the professionalism but also personalism in our interactions with Brian; He is also quite entertaining - visiting different properties was actually a fun time with him whereas it seemed like a chore with our old agent.. From the time we began working with Brian he was essential 'on-call' for us, returning texts and emails at all times of day and night & quickly answering any questions we had (and we had many questions being young, first time buyers) We set a date that we would like to be moved in by and with Brians help we beat that timeframe by two months. The house we ended up in was one that Brian had alerted to us and convinced us to just it check out to get a feel for what we like, even though my partner and i were sure this property was too nice for us and we would be out-bid; When it was time to put in an offer, Brian clearly outlined the negotiation process for us and soon after we received the good news that our offer was accepted, under asking price! I have recommenced Brian to a few friends who are starting to think about homes themselves and i would not hesitate to work with Brian again in the future, though i don't think we will need to as Brian help us find an almost perfect property for our needs and life style.
