After leaving messages with other agents and receiving no response, I went online and typed in "the best real estate agent in the Hudson Valley" and Trevor and the Truss Group immediately popped up. I called and left a message and within an hour Trevor called me back. After a brief conversation, to my surprise, he agreed to drive up that same day and see our home. It was a gloomy, wet and foggy day. Not ideal driving conditions but he drove up the mountain to meet us. He was professional, observant, patient and extremely knowledgeable. A great communicator. We immediately knew we had the right agent. The listing process was smooth and Trevor and his team walked us through the entire process. The house was in contract within weeks. Trevor and his co agent, Justice, met and exceeded the reviews. They were phenomenal. Very knowledgeable with the local housing market and the selling agent. We never had to wait more than a few minutes for a reply to any call, text, or email, even on the weekends or evenings. The first offer made by Trevor was much lower than what we were thinking. We eventually purchased the property for what we thought was an outstanding price. The attorney and other third party providers to whom Trevor referred us were very good. Most recently, I decided to investigate and then move after happening to walk by a cute small house in central Hudson that was for sale. I called Trevor to navigate the purchase with me - and am glad I did when a competing bid arose at the last minute. His advice was invaluable and I was able to secure the new house. While that was going on, Trevor advised me on the potential sale of my existing house in Hudson. While some fixing up was necessary, he was able to coach me on what was essential to do and what in fact the new owner might prefer to do. Within a day or two of a contract being signed for my new house, Trevor had my existing house on line and on the market. And after only 2 days on the market, my old house was under contract. Lucky yes, but skillfully thought through and executed. The closings were then staged with only a week/10 days between such that I had time to move but only a short time owning both properties. ZillowVERIFIED Ive worked with Andrew and Trevor, the broker, multiple times in the past while selling previous projects after renovations. I recently had Andrew represent me as a buyer for the first time for a fixer-upper for which financing proved to be difficult. When the rehab financing I had first been pre-qualified for fell through, I had just gone with my family to the Philippines for a five-week trip and didnt see how I could manage to move forward on it, so I was about to tell my attorney that I needed to fall out of contract due to an inability to secure financing. But Trevor and Andrew right after hearing from me consulted with one of their contacts who decided to grant a loan for the house to ultimately allow the deal to go through. Andrew took my 12-hour time difference into account and set up Zoom calls between me and the private lender. Not long after arriving back stateside, the closing went through smoothly and Im now chipping away at fixing the place up and building equity. When hurdles arise, these guys think creatively to figure out pathways through to ensure if theres a way to get it done, itll get done. Im continually happy with them and will continue to recommend.
