Selling our home of 30+ years was stressful, but thankfully we were fortunate to have real estate professional and Washington DC native, Holly Tenant-Billy, guide us through the process with an exceptional level of personal service, expertise and dedication. Hollys knowledge and insight of real estate market trends provided us with a path of making sound decisions. We always felt she understood our needs, her service to her client was paramount, no question was insignificant, answers were patiently explained, and quick responsiveness was the norm. Some items in the home needed to be changed and Holly was able to provide us with resources for great contractors and vendors. I found Doug through the purchase of a new home. He represented the seller. He provided a calm atmosphere at the open house which was an unusual experience for me. I interviewed several agents for the sale of my existing home. He provided that same calming influence to me, but brought even more with is knowledge of the market and connections to other agents that brought buyers for us. He gave expert advice, which we followed. We were able to sell our house within a couple of days of listing. It was the best experience I have ever had with a realtor. I plan to keep in touch with him for my future real estate opportunities.

We engaged Mona to represent us in our search for a home in McLean, VA. As VA-backed borrowers, our situation had some unique parameters, and Mona developed a tailor-fit strategy to identify a set of properties that fit within our search limits. Areas where we were particularly impressed: (1) Her insight into the local DMV market: Mona knew which streets were most sought after, which were in a flood zone, which had busy traffic during rush hour, etc.; (2) Her network: Mona knew nearly all of the listing agents and major financiers in our market. Further, once we identified a property, she shared a deep list of contractors with us (upon our request) to bid on specific projects we wanted to execute; (3) Her valuation expertise: Mona routinely commented as to which properties were priced appropriately (in a very dynamic market) and she was frequently proved correct once the property was sold. In the case of the house we purchased, her valuation prediction was nearly spot on; and (4) Her focus on the client: Mona paid very close attention to our wish list and didn't stray from our must-haves. The properties she presented to us all made sense. There were no outliers. This process took some time, and we never felt rushed or pressured to find a property. Mona earned a commission of course, but the emphasis is on the word 'earned'. She was available for us every time we reached out, guided us when we sought her expertise, and saw our success as an extension of her own. She is a professional of the highest integrity, commitment and skillset and we are happy to offer our highest recommendation. Thank you Mona.

There are not enough accolades I can cite for Mona Banes. She was a life-saver at a very difficult time for me. Mona took charge and successfully sold all 3 of my properties. She was actively involved in the design and renovation of all 3 properties , monitored the work being done, worked closely with my building management to clear obstacles that arose, got all 3 properties staged, and kept me informed every step of the way, much of the time while I was temporarily residing in another State. I know all of this would not have been accomplished without her. Mona is a true professional and, at the same time, a warm, caring person with a bubbly personality that put me at ease, confident that all would be well. Choosing Mona as our realtor was a fantastic decision. As first-time home buyers, the home buying process was totally foreign to us. However, Mona did an amazing job at explaining every step of the process. She was exceptionally responsive; we almost never waited more than a couple of hours to hear back to texts or calls. When touring homes, she was great at pointing things out to us that we may not have noticed (or wouldn't know to check as first-time buyers). When we were ready to make an offer, she provided solid analysis on the price. Buying a home is a stressful process, and I cannot imagine having to do it with anyone other than Mona!
