My biggest advice to a first-time homebuyer would be to get educated and prepared before you fall in love with a house. Know what you can comfortably afford, get pre-approved with a reputable lender, and understand that the purchase price is only part of the cost—taxes, insurance, inspections, closing costs, repairs, and maintenance all matter. I’d also tell them not to skip inspections just to win a house and not to be afraid to ask questions. You’re not expected to understand everything the first time—that’s what your agent and lender are there for. Most importantly, buy a home that works for your life and your budget, not just the maximum amount you’re approved for. The goal isn’t simply to get the keys; it’s to feel comfortable owning the home after closing, too.

My advice to sellers is to price your home right from the start, make a great first impression, and trust the process. Be open to feedback, stay realistic about the market, and work with an agent you trust. My job is to guide you through every step, keep you informed, and help make the selling process as smooth and successful as possible.

Over the years, I’ve worked with first-time homebuyers, move-up buyers, downsizing sellers, investors, landlords, renters, estate sales, families relocating, and clients buying or selling both residential and commercial properties. I’ve also worked with clients going through major life changes where extra patience, guidance, and communication are especially important. Every client and situation is different, and I enjoy helping people understand the process and feel comfortable from beginning to end.

One recent transaction that really stands out was helping a client through a sale that had a few challenges along the way. There were inspections, negotiations, and a lot of moving parts, but we stayed in constant communication and worked through each issue as it came up. In the end, we were able to get to the closing table successfully, and seeing how happy and relieved my client was made the whole transaction especially rewarding for me.

I got started in real estate because of my own experience buying my first home as a young single mom. I was raising my children, juggling a crazy schedule, and trying to navigate one of the biggest purchases of my life. Instead of feeling supported, my agent made me feel like I should already understand everything. I remember feeling embarrassed to ask questions and very much on my own during the process. That experience stayed with me. Home had always been my safe place the place where I could close the door, be with my children, and feel secure no matter what else was happening in life. I wanted other people to have that same feeling, but I also wanted them to have a completely different experience getting there. That is what inspired me to become a real estate agent. I wanted to be the person I wish I had when I purchased my first home someone who explains things, answers questions without judgment, listens, and makes sure clients never feel intimidated or alone. To me, real estate has never been just about buying and selling houses. It is about helping people find a place where they can feel safe, comfortable, and truly at home.

I bring more than 20 years of real estate experience, along with experience owning, managing, mentoring, and training within a brokerage. I have completed mentor training courses and ongoing continuing education to stay current with the industry. I enjoy helping agents build confidence with contracts, client communication, negotiations, pricing, lead follow-up, and the real-world challenges that come with each transaction.
