Born and raised in the Midwest, Tony learned at an early age the importance of hard work and honesty. He graduated from Illinois State University with a Bachelor Degree of Science with an emphasis in Sociology & Psychology and quickly followed his dream to exchange some of those snowy months for the warm Florida sunshine. With his wife by his side, he started his career in Florida as a Logistics Consultant in the Automotive Industry, saving his clients over a Million dollars each year on each account he handled. In 2005, he started to pursue the Real Estate arena working as a Mortgage Broker and later found his true passion as a Realtor. He worked on a real estate team for four years that was ranked Top Ten in America as the lead listing agent & buyer agent. After building his business by referrals Tony decided that his next step would be to build his own team within Keller Williams Realty and take his business to the next level. Today Tony leads a team of over 20 team members as CEO with his HUB in Tampa Bay with an additional office located in Orlando. 1) What advice would you give a buyer trying to purchase a home?
I would suggest contacting a Realtor with a proven track record of success. I would ask home many homes have you sold in the past 12 months? I would then leverage their resources like who they recommend for lender to get pre-approved so they can get the process started.
2) What advice would you give a seller trying to sell their home?
There are 5 factors to selling a home which are the following: 1) Condition 2) Location 3) Staging 4) Marketing 5) Pricing. All of these factors will determine what your value you will be when selling so call an expert that can walk you through all of this.
3) What types of clients have you worked with?
First Time Homebuyers, Move up Sellers closing on the same day, Investors, Empty Nesters, Luxury, Short Sales, Foreclosures, Bank Owned
4) Describe a recent transaction you are fond of. How did it go?
We do not take any sale for granted as each one has their own challenges. We gladly figure out solutions as they come at us and our team is equipped to handle just about any situation.
Our team tracks everything and have sold over 1100 homes in my career. On the listing side we average 99% of listing price and average 18 days on the market to contract, helped 207 families in 2016 and are on pace to serve 300 families in 2017. We hope to get the opportunity to work with you to show you how we handle our business.
5) How did you get started in Real Estate?
I was a Logistics consultant for 4 years and had a bad real estate experience when I purchased my first home. I decided I could do a great job helping others buy and sell so I got my mortgage license to learn the financial side first. Then I got my real estate license and after 1 year decided to only be an agent and that was in 2005. Went through the worst real estate market of all time and stay full time the entire time. Its been a journey and one that I will always appreciate now that we are one of the top agents in the entire state of Florida. It was tough but worth the struggle to get here.
