ZillowVERIFIEDTom's professionalism, dedication, passion and knowledge of the Scottsdale market was above and beyond our expectations. Tom was very easy to work with and was always prompt and available for questions via text or phone during the entire process. He went beyond all expectations from the moment we met with him. He would set up viewings for us promptly and that helped us to zero in on our purchase area along with desirable features in the home. The thing that I appreciated most about Tom was his "I'm on it" attitude. With Tom's help, when our home came on the market we were the first to view it and put in an offer that was successful. His ability to work with the sellers agent really showed through and because of the way that he conducted himself with this agent is the reason that we were fortunate enough to have been able to purchase our new home in one of the more desirable areas of Scottsdale! I highly recommend Tom Walsh and 5 Star Realty.

ZillowVERIFIED I hit the jackpot when my property search led me to Tom Walsh @ 5 Star Property Brokers. His service defines the word. It was concierge service from property search, offer, negotiations and close. After closing he continued to assist us in making Scottsdale our new home.

ZillowVERIFIED It was a pleasure working with Tom. He communicated quickly and regularly. He knows so much about houses and was able to point out things that were advantages and things to watch/stay away from, which was really helpful. He knows the market and the process really well and we felt like we were in good hands the entire time. He was able to recommend a mortgage broker and attorney who were both excellent. We had a bit of a hurdle with our appraisal and he and the broker he recommended to us were able to negotiate a great outcome for us without needing much of our involvement. We were very happy and will use Tom again for any future purchases/sales.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom was great to work with. I found a place I loved but it was already under contract. Tom connected with the listing agent to get involved, and told them he had an interested buyer. Stayed in touch. The list agent shared with Tom that the other deal was in jeopardy and he got me in to see it while under contract (and told me not to get my hopes up). That deal did fall through, and I was able to get the offer in and accepted same day. Tom has all the connections to make it happen fast. He is also now offering tips and connections for some of the work I want to have done. All around great experience and highly recommended. Also - Tom listed and rented my previous home within 10 days for me.

ZillowVERIFIED Our experience with Tom was really incredible. He truly cares about finding you the right property and you never feel like he is working in his own self interest. He was very patient with us, helped us evaluate potential properties, and didnt want to put us in the wrong house or for us to overpay. These things are not a given in realtors and I would recommend Tom to everyone.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom Walsh provided excellent service as we listed our condo and bought a new house this summer. This was a long time in the making, as he stuck with us for two years to find the right house to buy. Then it was a rush to get our condo on the market - but due to Tom's expert knowledge both the purchase and the sale were successes!

ZillowVERIFIED Tom is a kind and knowledgable realtor. We have used his services for years and would so again. He is helpful with construction and structural questions and will always tell you if he sees something that you should be concerned about when buying a home. I never felt he was just trying to make a sale as he has several times brought to our attention issues that might come up with a home in the coming years.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom is a great person and professional. He helped us buy the condo and sell it. Both times it was a seamless experience. Selling the condo was stress free, as he prepared us on how the process would look like and the timing. He made sure everything was ready for showing and it was. Within 24 hours of posting the condo on the market, we got an offer that eventually was accepted. Working with Tom is always great.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom has played such a huge role in our house hunt since our first home. We met Tom 8 years ago and we loved our experience. He always learned about the area so he could give us a better insight into which home is a good buy and also making sure it was exactly what we wanted. Tom is honest and never pressured us to pursue a home we clearly did not want. He truly cares about our needs. We lived in our first home for 7 years and decided we needed a bigger space. We knew we wanted to work with Tom again and this time he helped us with both buying and selling. Tom did an amazing job making sure we sell our house shortly after buying a new home. Rest assured, we are now living in our second home and closing on our first home in two days! :) Tom has so much knowledge and experience and he makes sure to share all of it with us.

ZillowVERIFIED We could not ask for a better experience with Tom as first time house buyers. What sets Tom apart is his experience he brings to the table through each stage of the process. He was attentive, informative, and took extra time to understand exactly what we were looking for in a house. We certainly will be working with him again in the future and recommending him to all of our friends.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom is by far the best broker you can work with!! He sold us our first home 6 years ago and has been with us ever since. He made our first home buying experience such an easy process. Consequently, we sold our first home, bought a new one, and maintain a rental property all with Tom. We will never use another broker. He is genuinely honest, diligent with every aspect of the buying/selling process, undeniably fair, ethical, and respectful to all parties involved. Without question, Tom Walsh is one of the best brokers in the business.

He negotiated and got us the best price , got us an excellent Mortgage Banker , and a very fine realestate lawyer . The closing went perfectly and we were very happy . ZillowVERIFIED We are limited to 5 stars but if we could we would give Tom 10 stars! From the beginning to the end of the process, Tom was helpful, energetic, positive and extremely knowledgeable. Tom made honest and valuable recommendations about furnishings, decor, pricing, negotiations, contractors and on and on. Ours was a 2 bedroom house which is a tough sell in a suburb filled with 3 bedroom houses but thanks to his expertise we sold in about 2 weeks. We would highly recommend Tom to friends, neighbors or anyone considering buying or selling.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom is the best. Funny thing is that we met Tom by accident. I was looking for an investment property and was working with a broker who I liked well enough but over time she just seemed to lose interest - I'm a pretty choosy guy and am not quick to make important decisions. Tom happened to show us around a property that I walked through just because I happened to be in the area and so was Tom. Long story short, the other broker dropped out of the picture as we continued to look at properties together. Tom, on the other hand, quickly understood what I had in mind and showed us one that we closed on recently. He's a real professional and puts his client's interests first. Also helps that Tom is just a nice person.

ZillowVERIFIED Tom was incredibly consistent and supportive in helping me to sell my Chicago home at the very edge of Albany Park, just east of Irving Park. He gave me great advice and made some simple suggestions about preparing and staging my old house, but, most significantly, my house sold within six weeks for a price considerably higher than the other realtors I'd interviewed had predicted. I felt that Tom respected my wishes and goals and worked with me...shepherding me through the anxiety of an initial offer that evaporated, and helping me refine my thoughts about my next purchase. He kept saying that the right buyer for my house would come along, and, indeed, they did...leaving me with good feelings about leaving a home and neighborhood I loved in the hands of some really good people. Tom 's business sense, his common sense attitude, sensitivity, knowledge of resources, and sense of humor made my experience really positive, and I would highly recommend him as a premier ally in the major task of selling and purchasing a home. This process was quite a critical endeavor, both financially and emotionally. Thanks, Tom!

I found him to be very helpful in deciding what location would work best. Also, public transportation was very important and he found a condo that was perfect walking distance to the L stop. ZillowVERIFIED Tom got us a terrific deal on my dad's very challenging condo next to Belmont Harbor in Chicago. It definitely needed updating, but Tom was able to promote the benefits (like the magnificent view) and sell prospects on a vision of its future grandeur. Go, Tom. Thanks so much for your help!
