ZillowVERIFIED We interviewed Tom and other agents for the sale of our house. During the walk thru Tom understood the value of the many features we added to our house. Tom devised a marketing plan based on his local knowledge and our house features that targeted clients that would be most interested in our house. His plan coincided with our own thoughts. The house was shown on two consecutive days resulting in 3 full price offers and one pending cash sale. During the process Tom provided pertinent and timely information concerning the status of offers, inspection results, and the appraisal valuation. From the moment we selected Tom to signing with the new owners the time took less than 30 days. We felt that Toms counsel was honest and while not always what we expected to hear nonetheless accurate. In the end we received our asking price and we thank Tom for his insight, professionalism and caring.

This guy is top notch. I would recommend him for the following reasons : 1. He knows the market (we priced it right and he also referred me to a lender who saved me 3k in closing costs for my new home) 2. During that showing I explained to him that this was my first time purchasing a home, what I was looking for, and that I had no understanding of the home-purchasing process. We had lived in our home for 21 years, and while rather small compared to today's standards, it had been upgraded extensively. Even with the upgrades, I was very worried about selling our home due to the age and some of the upgrades still left to do. I expected the home to sit on the market for some time, and even had a back up plan to rent it out if necessary. After selecting Tom as our buying and selling agent based on information I gathered on the Internet, we began our search. I immediately found a house I loved and Tom was able to help us expertly negotiate a price we could afford. While we ended up purchasing a house a little higher than expected, we never felt pressured from Tom to purchase more than we wanted or could afford. He was honest and forthright in his information, and always made me feel the decision was completely up to me. He made us feel like he truly had our best interests in mind. In the end, I am so thankful for his professional insights that helped us make the decision we made. I love the house we purchased and cannot imagine us anywhere else. Without his insights, it is very possible we would have settled for something less than what we got, and I know now I would never have been happy.After finding our new home, Tom encouraged us to get our existing house on the market as quickly as possible. I had reservations about how quickly it would sell, and expected that we would end up lowering our price multiple times before it was over. Wow, was I in for the shock of my life! We entered into a contract with Tom on the Wednesday before Labor Day weekend, with the agreement that the house would be listed right after the Labor Day holiday. Prior to the official listing, Tom put a "coming soon" sign in the yard so the holiday weekend traffic would see that it was entering the market. On the Tuesday after Labor Day, Howard Hanna received a call inquiring on the property, which resulted in a showing that resulted in a offer that had us under contract by end of day on Thursday, and we received 96% of our asking price!!Tom was a true enjoyment to work with through the entire buying and selling process. He was extremely responsive. Any time we sent him a text or and email, we received a very quick response, even if to acknowledge receipt and let us know he would get back with us. He was always able to answer all of our questions, and was excellent at keeping us calm throughout the process. I feel he went out of his way to make the process as stress free as possible.I highly recommend Tom to anyone looking for a real estate agent that they can respect and that will do whatever it takes to get the job done!
