ZillowVERIFIED When you ask an expert a question, do you ever feel like they are: (1) not really answering your question, (2) trying to impress you or talk over you with their answer, or (3) wasting your time with a long answer that includes irrelevant information? My husband and I felt this way with many realtors we met, until we met Tom Udvance. Tom is an incredibly down to earth, knowledgeable realtor who takes the time to understand and answer his clients' questions. If he doesn't know the answer, he will find out what it is and come back to you. Tom genuinely cares about matching his clients with a home that fits THEIR needs, not his preferences. My husband and I are both working professionals and first-time home buyers who moved here from out of state. We wanted a realtor who would teach us about the process and the chicago areas we were interested in. Tom gave us candid feedback on our selections but also let us lead the way with our priorities. He took our priorities into account when he searched 5 Chicago neighborhoods. He often found candidate homes that we could not find on our own using the internet. Since we bought our home in September, Tom has checked in with us several times and answered questions we had about the home. He certainly did not have to do this, as the sale was already completed! Overall, I could not recommend Tom more as a realtor. Through the home buying process, he has also become our friend.

We hired Tom in early 2017 and learned very quickly that he was a guy who was ready to go above and beyond; he does deep research, always come prepared, is willing to answer 100 (and 1) questions and is honest, fair and responsive. Working with Tom was a game-changer for our family. When we listed our home with Conlon, Tom set the price at the perfect point, marketed to the best audience and held our hands through it all. ZillowVERIFIED Tom has been the best realtor we have worked with so far and we have relocated 8 times. During my house-hunt, I had only a few days to search before I flew back to Arizona. Tom had booklets ready with all the home data, and was extremely knowledgable about all the areas we wanted to search. Tom was also very patient when we look at 12+ homes each day and gave honest feedback when I had questions about neighborhoods/areas, etc.. We appreciated his candor and were able to find our dream home. I have no intention of moving again but if we do, Tom would be the realtor we call to sell our home.
