I have always known that Tom was thoughtful, ethical, and genuinely had our best interests at heart. What surprised me was how often other real estate agents mentioned how respected Tom is in the industry. More than once, we heard unsolicited comments about his integrity and professionalism, which definitely helped during negotiations and made us even more grateful to have him on our side. Throughout the entire process, Tom was always a great listener. He never tried to steer us toward any particular direction, but always offered honest, practical advice and shared his experience. He also reminded us (many times) not to settle just because the house-hunting process can be exhausting- advice I'm very thankful for now. We looked at a lot of houses, and I sometimes felt guilty asking Tom to meet us at yet another showing. But he was endlessly patient and always encouraged us to keep looking so we could be confident in our choice. Weve been in our home for a little over a year now, and I'm still so happy with where we landed. Toms patience, kindness, and confidence made the entire experience feel manageable. I chose him when I needed a realtor because my boss had used his services for many years and I was well aware of the accolades he heaped upon Tom.He was friendly, firm, helpful, very professional but the attribute I appreciated most was his responsiveness. When he couldnt himself hold my Open House he let me know which realtor would be doing that. After the Open House I would receive a detailed email of who came, how interested they were in my apartment, comments they made and the likelihood of them coming back. Some of his emails were sent late at night. He kept me up-to-date on every appointment made by other realtors. Needless to say, he was well aware of other apartments for sale in the building or the nearby area and how mine compared. Most important, my apartment did sell and at a price per square foot higher than any other in the building.Overall, Tom was awesome. ZillowVERIFIED I have sold and purchased several houses in the past 10 years, and Tom stood out from day one as the most professional, knowledgeable and effective realtor of the bunch, hands down. He is also an incredibly pleasant person. Our entire experience with Tom was excellent. We spent several days with him initially to hone in our desired home's specs, and it was time well spent. He was able to remind us of these conversations when we started to get frustrated and wanted to put bids on houses that had little to do with what we really wanted (Note: Frustration had nothing to do with Tom, and everything to do with the challenge of purchasing a home on Oahu with low inventory, high mark-ups, and disdain for a VA loan by sellers). Tom helped line us up with a mortgage company that we really liked, and pointed us in the right direction with every question and request we had of him. When we finally found the home we wanted, I am 100% certain that having Tom as a realtor helped make it possible. He was incredibly knowledgeable and helpful during the escrow process, and even helped us line contractors up for some minor renovations we did once the place was ours. I cannot imagine having a better realtor, and my experiences with other realtors gives me something to compare. There was no comparison. We were so pleased with Tom that we have recommended him to several of our good friends, all of whom had equally pleasant and productive experiences with Tom.

ZillowVERIFIED When we started looking for a house, it was our first home purchase, we were a young family and naturally apprehensive about our first major purchase. We were working with another agent, who didn't take us seriously because of our budget, which inevitably led us to Tom. From the beginning, Tom took our concerns, wants and needs seriously. When we started, we had a low budget and our timeline dragged on as we saved money, but Tom made the time and effort as if we were buying a million dollar home. He drove my children and I through countless neighborhoods and never made us once feel as though we were wasting his time. He genuinely cares about placing people with the right homes and isn't out to make quick and easy money even though he could. He is incredibly knowledgable of the local market from current housing trends to home builds and real estate laws. If he doesn't know an answer, though that doesn't happen often, he knows someone who does and is an expert in that area. I never doubted his professionalism and gave my full trust to Tom. To this day, we keep in touch with Tom even though we have no intention of buying another home, but that's because of the person he is. And if I ever buy another home or sell my home, he is the first and only person I would contact.
