Todd and Rob are the best real estate agents I have ever worked with. Todd is extremely thorough, and consistently takes the time to explain the nuances of his recommendations and thought process. He also steered me toward the right decision on several occasions, even when it meant walking away from a deal, by presenting all relevant information (data and analysis) in a logical, neutral, and straightforward manner. Todd's comp analyses for sales price and potential rental income were also the most thorough I have been presented with by a realtor, which gave me confidence when making offers.Todd and Rob are also extremely generous with their time. They go above and beyond during showings and when answering questions. As an example, every time Rob showed me a property, he offered to spend extra time, so that I could get a better feel for the property, and then followed up by offering to tour it again. As another example, Todd was aways happy to get on the phone with me about potential purchases, even on weekends, and responded to my texts promptly. Throughout the process, I never felt like I was being pushed toward a purchase decision whatsoever; instead, I felt as though I was getting expert, data-driven guidance from who was actually on my side and had my best interest in mind.Finally, Todd and Rob have an extensive knowledge base and invaluable local network (of rental agents, contractors, bankers, etc.), and would be great for both first time buyers and buyers new to the San Francisco market.I cannot recommend Todd and his team enough. They are great!!

I recently decided to get back into home ownership and Marcus expertly navigated me through the process in this dynamic economic market in the Bay Area. Marcus took the time to sit down with me and discuss my objectives and expectations, including desired cities, neighborhoods, space needs, price, commute logistics, etc. I have to admit, I was a bit all over the place at the beginning, but thanks to Marcus' years of insight of buying / selling in the Bay Area, he was able to help me narrow my focus, as well as reset expectations to align with my objectives / needs. He always remains objective, giving you practical data to consider so you can make an informed decision on a significant purchase. Given his year's of experience, he was also able to give a high level assessment of repairs, renovations, issues, etc. with each property so you can get a sense of costs to expect after a purchase. What I really appreciate about Marcus is that he doesn't just try to push a sale to make a buck, but operates as a consultant so that you make a decision that is right for you. Communication is also key and Marcus responded quickly and frequently to all my inquiries, in addition to checking in throughout the home buying process. Buying a home is a stressful and complicated process and having Marcus by your side makes it extremely pleasurable. Highly recommended!

Weve worked with the Montgomery and Lee team on a number of property transactions in San Francisco over recent years and the consistency of their professionalism, expertise, integrity and confidence is second to none. Todd and Marcus have demonstrated in each instance that they place our interests above all else and seek to understand what our needs are. This thoughtfulness and integrity is coupled with a sharp understanding of the market and a decisive ability to get deals done. We first started working with the Montgomery and Lee Team in 2020 during a very tricky sale at the start of the pandemic. I was in the process of selling a loft in the Mission and within the first couple weeks of listing it, the pandemic forced the closure of San Francisco, and open houses were effectively shut down. After my property sat on the market for months without much activity, I hired the Montgomery and Lee team to take over my listing from another agent. Todd and Marcus came into the situation prepared to pivot to the new reality caused by the pandemic with a marketing strategy that leveraged technology and showcased the property virtually to a global audience. Any other team would have been intimidated by this sale, but Todd and Marcus conveyed confidence from the start and reassured me they could get it done. Within a couple weeks of taking over the listing, they were able to identify a unique buyer from their marketing efforts and we sold the property at a great price. More recently, in 2022, I enlisted Todd and Marcus in the purchase and sale of 2 single family homes in San Francisco. Again, this was an incredibly sophisticated transaction involving a 6 month rent back to the seller, something lesser experienced agents steered clear of given the tricky legal considerations and inherent risks in a transaction of that length. Todd instilled confidence from the beginning that we could make this transaction work, secure the home at a good price and work with the sellers to ensure a smooth transition 6 months later. Marcus handled the subsequent sale of our existing house and leveraged their connections to identify the perfect buyer before the first open house. Todd and Marcuss timing and advice were impeccable. Todd and Marcus are clearly well connected across the SF real estate community and particularly skilled at partnering with other agents to navigate complex deals and facilitate access to desirable properties. It is also clear they are both highly regarded amongst their peers. Todd and Marcus are an extremely talented team bringing a command of market dynamics, competitive intelligence, cutting edge marketing tools and sharp negotiating tactics to the table. What I appreciate most of all about Todd and Marcus is that they are good people who operate with utmost integrity and professionalism and represent my best interests in all transactions. I trust them implicitly and see them as a team I will use for the rest of our home buying adventures.
