Moving from out of state, she was incredibly patient with our questions and always made sure to give us all of the possible information of an area so we could make the best decision for us (the taxes may be this here, the traffic patterns could be this - you know, fun city stuff!). The market went from 0-100 in the middle of our process and she was super communicative and good with scheduling virtual tours so we didnt miss the opportunity to see any potential houses going on and off the market super quick. With that being said, we never felt pressured to make an offer. Finally, once we were making our way through the mortgage process, she continued to provide guidance, answering questions that came up, all the way through to closing when she helped calm our nerves and get us through the close to the most important part - giving us the keys and taking the so-important new homeowner photographs. If we move again, we will most certainly be calling her. And we will be referring any friends beginning their hunt as well.

She made it a point to show me houses that I was specifically looking for and was very honest with what she thought was right for me or not. When we viewed houses, she was able to broadly walk me through technical details about what was going on within the structure of the house which is very helpful particularly with the older homes with lots of unknowns that I was looking at in Pittsburgh. Tirzah walked me (a first-time homebuyer) through every step of the process. There were many homes that seemed great online, but once we visited in person, Tirzah pointed out several problem points I would have missed. When I finally settled on a home, she served as an excellent negotiator, helping obtain an excellent sale price and seller concessions for additional problems that came up in the home inspection. Tirzah also has excellent relationships with local (Pittsburgh) lenders, insurers, home inspectors, and tradespeople. Originally I had contacted her about another property she was selling here on Zillow and wondered if she would also be my agent. You see, I was moving to Pittsburgh from Alaska to start Nursing school and a new job, and was looking to purchase a house for around 30k that was move-in ready for myself, senior dog and cat and really needed help! To make matters more pressing I also wanted to be closing within a month. While the property that had initially connected me with her didn?t end up being the right match, we found a beautiful home in Sheridan that had been in the same family since not long after it was built in 1925. The winter was warmer under the amber lighting by the wood stove. And now that spring has come along, the many perinneals planted over the years are coming out of the ground making the yard look like a mini-Phipps. Last but not least, the neighbors have been so sweet and helpful as I navigate new homeownership and a new city and I?ve maintained contact with the previous owners.
