ZillowVERIFIED I initially chose Tina Yakel because she is a Dave Ramsey recommended ELP realtor. There were a few other local realtors that came up, but Tina's responsiveness made her stand out. She also impressed me with her local knowledge and gave me all the comp information I could ever ask more. Tina is very thorough and professional. The surprise box of cookies she sent when we went under contract was not necessary but was very much appreciated by me and my dog. I would highly recommend Tina Yakel and her team to either sell your house or help you buy your perfect home.

ZillowVERIFIED Tina is just plain awesome. She knows about the process, and she cares tremendously about the people. She knows her stuff. And she knows the stuff everyone else should be doing and how to keep them doing it. When you want to organize yourself and prepare for buying or selling, you want Tina's advisement. When a deal is going off the rails, you want Tina in your corner. The most important thing is trust, and Tina is the one you can always trust to look out for you and help you.

ZillowVERIFIED We have know Tina for more than a decade and she was the automatic choice to sell our home. We knew we could trust her and she would do all she could to get our home sold. She was there for us for the smallest thing and an honest opinion when we needed it. She is more than a realtor, she is more of a dear friend who treats you like family. She is the only person I recommend to friends and family. Our home is under contract within 3 days!

ZillowVERIFIED I have been absolutely thrilled to have had Tina as my real estate agent. I've now used her twice as a first-time home buyer and most recently as a first-time home seller. Tina provided exceptional customer service - explaining the process throughout, always available, great communication, and worked around my schedule since I moved out of town and needed to utilize digital options. I'm a younger client and Tina treated me with such kindness and respect. She helped me close on my new home in 12 days, and then when I sold this house most recently it was on the market less than 17 hours before I already had a bid for my asking price. She made the process seamless and worry-free. Her advice and recommendations from start to finish were always perfect. She's a pleasure to work with.

ZillowVERIFIED I've worked with a lot of Realtors - and Tina is absolutely the best that we've met in the greater Gainesville/Alachua County market. She is honest, straight-shooting, understanding, and she works incredibly hard for her clients.Tina was absolutely supportive and responsive, no matter the issue or the time of day (or night!). She was proactive about every aspect of our experience - from first viewings all the way through closing. She called upon her own trusted resources to get us through the loan process, inspections, surveying, etc... I didn't have to worry about a single detail, and (even better) I had every confidence that our best interests were being represented at every step.I am so grateful to have found Tina, and cannot recommend her highly enough.

ZillowVERIFIED Tina Yakel was absolutely amazing during the process of buying our home! She was always professional, courteous, and willing to go above and beyond. We had previously looked at a home during our search, and decided to back out of that home. We notified Tina of the other home we wanted to look at, and she had an appt set by that afternoon for us to look at the home. We now have our HOME <3 Thank you so much!!

ZillowVERIFIED I'm writing this review from the couch in my new home thanks to Tina Yakel and the people she recommended to help us with our mortgage loan. My husband and I have been working through the home buying process for some time to make sure that we were ready and able to afford what we were buying while getting the best quality for the money we put into it. Tina helped us to communicate with the seller of home we purchased when things seemed to be going in a difficult direction on their end. Her response time was always perfect and that is very much appreciated when buying a home and selling the one you're living in at the same time. She was able to offer a relief to my home buying anxiety and help me understand each stage of the process. I'm very thankful that we had her assistance and that we were able to make a friend along the way.

ZillowVERIFIED Buying a house was a breeze thanks to the help of Tina Yakel! Tina answered all of our questions thoroughly and promptly, walked us through every step so we always understood what was happening and even offered additional helpful information for us new-to-the-area buyers after the sale was final. She took the stress out of buying a home. My favorite thing about Tina, though, was her kind, caring and patient personality. It really made my house buying experience a great one! I would highly recommend Tina, she really does have the heart of a teacher.

ZillowVERIFIED Tina is amazing, professional, and a "go getter." She went to bat for us multiple times to get us into our dream home. She is very quick to respond and knowledgeable about the process, this market, and is so helpful when deciding what strategy to take when "playing the game" that is buying and selling a home. She helped us sell our home in 24hrs for over asking price. Her photographer was fantastic and her people skills are top notch. We had quite the task of selling our home in order to purchase the next and she made it so much less stressful. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND Tina. If you're serious about selling your home or buying a new home, she will make it happen.

ZillowVERIFIED Tina was wonderful during the entire process. She was extremely knowledgeable and was able to guide us in the right direction every step of the way. She removed the stress that goes hand-in-hand with this type of nerve-racking experience. Every time we had a question regarding the property itself, she was quick to reach out and find the answers immediately. She had recommended an extremely thorough company to perform the inspection, and when that company compiled a list of things that needed to be addressed, she worked with the seller to make sure everything was taken care of in a timely manner. By the time the closing rolled around, we felt very confident with our decision and were excited to move into our new home. I sincerely recommend working with Tina to find your new home. I'm so glad she was there for us during this process.

ZillowVERIFIED 03/06/2019Hello, My name is Clay Connolly. I'm the Deputy Police Chief for the City of Williston. This letter serves as a aEURoeThank youaEUR? note to Tina Yakel, Realtor of Gainesville. Please read this letter in its entirety as you will learn why my wife and I engaged her to sell her (my wifes) house. Several months back I went looking for available benefits for my Police Officers. Our agency has never paid competitively in the marketplace and I was looking for something I could do to get my officers aEURoeinvestedaEUR? in the City they serve. I found aEURoeHomes for HeroesaEUR? in a web search, gave them my information and rapidly got a call from Tina. We met and shared our mutual desire to see officers buy homes within the City (or nearby). We both agreed this was the first step to wealth building and saw it as a aEURoeWin / WinaEUR? for the City and employees, as well. Tina presented to the City Council and was well received. Shortly thereafter my wife decided to sell her house in Gainesville. She had a son living there. He moved out and she saw no reason to continue to pay taxes on an unoccupied home. We called Tina. My wife saw this a daunting task as she had never sold a house in the past. Tina spent a lot of time and attention and promised my wife this was not insurmountable and put her mind at ease, immediately. Tina advised us on what upgrades would be required, recommended some contractors and even made arrangements with them on our behalf. We completed the improvements, advised Tina and she placed the house on MLS. Within three hours we had a buyer. By the end of the day we had a contract and last week we closed on the sale. Granted, the housing market has much improved over the last few years but I couldnt imagine things coming together that quickly. Tina is a dynamo. Imagine the energizer bunny on steroids! She spoke the same language as my wife, shared her angst and put it to rest. That investment in a relationship facilitated everything that came after. Closing completed on Monday, the proceeds went into my wifes account and there was a very nice aEURoeHomes for HeroesaEUR? check included! Wow! Thank you Tina! You did a magnificent job. I wish you and your brokerage (TY Realty) all the success the Lord will give. Warmest regards, Clay

ZillowVERIFIED Tina was very helpful from the beginning. Even before we hired her as our agent, she gave us projections, comparables and understood my wife's and I needs. Tina was great with the logistics of scheduling all the needed inspections, appraisals, cleanings, etc... I sold our house from 1000 miles away and she was able to coordinate everything. Plus, Tina is a part of the Homes for Hero's program which supports Law enforcement and their unique needs.
