We needed to relocate from OC to North County for work reasons, but were also looking for our next home to serve as our dream retirement home. The type of property we were looking for was in short supply and high demand. We were in many ways financially outgunned by the other buyers. Ultimately, we were able to get the house we wanted at a fair price and Charlie was instrumental in getting us there for a number of reasons: 1. Responsiveness: He was always available when we needed him. Paperwork was turned around quickly even outside of regular 9-5 hours. When we needed to be first at a property, he was there. He never left us hanging. 2. Process expertise: Charlie is a great communicator and always kept us informed as to what to expect in the process. There were no surprises. He also has solid relationships to help with all the other aspects of buying such as mortgages, inspectors, etc. 3. Negotiation skills: Because we were outgunned, we needed to try less conventional strategies to get an accepted offer. Charlie is good thinking outside of the box and it took responsiveness, quick thinking, and an aggressive strategy to close our deal.
