ZillowI live in Los Angeles. My 72 year old brother had a massive stroke last January. In order to pay for his care we needed to have a quick sale of his Palm Springs rental home. I selected Tim Sarlund to list with because he had worked the neighborhood as I found door hangers on the property, mailers in my brother's P.O. Box, and even found a voicemail on my brother's phone. I sold real estate myself for a short time years ago and recognized a hard worker when I saw one. After a telephone and in-person interview we hired him on the spot. But we couldn't list it immediately as the house was in need of repair after the tenants left . When my brother's preferred contractor didn't finish the job in a timely manner, Tim suggested we use his guy. Tim personally managed the work done and respected my wishes to do an inexpensive but attractive job. It was so nice to trust someone locally, as we were 2 hours away. After about 10 days to finish the work for a broker's open, we had 3 offers. One was over asking after we had priced it at the top of the comps! That offer held, and the house was sold. No real hassle on our part and my brother has money for a couple of years of care. We appreciate Tim's devotion to our problematic situation. My brother still has one remaining property in PS. And when the time comes, Tim will be selling that one as well.

Tim is one of the best if not the best real estate agent we've ever encountered. First we tried to sell our vacation home in Palm Springs by ourselves. Due to the the distance that proved to be impractical so we found the local agent with the most sales in that area. Tim helped us with tips how to improve the house, brought the several offers and ended up selling the house for the price we wanted. Without getting into details he was excellent communicator, negotiator and utmost professional in every aspect of the transaction.

ZillowTim knows Palm Springs. It took me a year to find exactly what I wanted and Tim guided me the entire way. He knows Palm Springs very well and has a great grasp on what should cost what. He kept me out of areas that I didn't want to be in and informed me when something was actually "too good to be true." I would recommend him every day of the week. Excellent agent for Palm Springs especially for someone coming from the outside.
