ZillowVERIFIED I must start by saying I was reluctant to go with Assist 2 Sell because I was always of the belief that you get what you pay for and seeing the rate of 2-1/2% compared to 5 or 6 % from other realtors. So I took a chance and went with Tim because he was very upfront about everything. Not only did he sell it within 3 hours of the open house he pulled it off during the COVID Virus going on.I have and will continue to let people know who may be selling in the area to give Tim a call first!!

ZillowVERIFIED Despite a favorable initial impression, my wife and I did not have a good experience listing our home with Tim Madden and Assist-to-Sell. During our initial interview and meeting with Tim he provided us a detailed comparative market analysis which included his recommended listing price. We listed at this price and a month later, after no showings, Tim advised us to lower the listing price and we did so. After more time passed without any showings, open houses, or realtor visits, and little communication from Tim, we realized we had made a mistake listing with him. Although Tims initial market analysis may have been flawed, necessitating the early price cut, our biggest issue was not his pricing strategy but his lackadaisical approach to marketing our home (limited advertising, no open houses, and lack of promotion of our property to other broker/agents etc.) and very poor communication after our initial meeting. We felt confident that once buyers and/or local real estate agents saw our property that plenty of interest and enthusiasm would be generated. However, during the term of our listing agreement with Tim he did not invite over any other agents, either from Assist-to-Sell or any other agency, to see our house nor did he conduct any open houses for buyers. Whenever we called Tim to express our concerns over this lack of perceived effort and progress we usually got curt or otherwise unsatisfactory responses. He also seemed forgetful to us; had trouble remembering prior conversations and commitments.In conclusion, although Tim Madden is personable and made a favorable initial impression on us, he did not do an effective job marketing our home or communicating with us. It was for these reasons that we terminated our listing agreement with him and would not recommend his services to other home sellers.
