I became very aware of the power of the RE/MAX brand and after six months of being in the business I decided to join RE/MAX. In 1997 I believed so much in RE/MAX brand I purchased my 1st of 3 offices. Without my knowledge or consent, this agent listed my property for sale. The agent proceeded with this action based on information provided by an individual who turned out to be a fraudster, without taking the necessary steps to verify ownership or obtain proper authorization from me, the rightful property owner. This type of conduct is extremely troubling for several reasons: 1. Failure to Verify Ownership aEUR" A licensed realtor is obligated to confirm that the person requesting a listing is the legitimate owner. In this case, no such due diligence was performed. 2. Negligence and Lack of Professional Standards aEUR" By proceeding without confirmation, the agent placed me at serious risk of property fraud, financial loss, and legal complications. 3. Violation of Trust and Professional Ethics aEUR" Realtors are entrusted with safeguarding property transactions. This type of careless practice damages public trust and raises questions about the integrity of the licensee. 4. Potential Violation of State Licensing Rules aEUR" Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR) requires that licensed agents act with honesty, fairness, and reasonable skill in all transactions. The actions of this agent clearly fall short of those requirements.

Tim and his son Parker were excellent throughout the sales process. Very helpful and quick resposne to all questions. Tim was instrumental in setting the listed sales price. We discussed several options and went with Tim's recommendation. The property sold on the first day with an all cash offer at our full asking price.
