ZillowVERIFIED Before choosing a real estate agent, I conducted a lot of research on how to choose a realtor. After that,A I assembled my long list of questions. Then, I began days long research of different realtors in the area, checking their websites, looking at their reviews, etc. Then I assembled my long list of realtors to call. Thomas must've been the 20th realtor I called and I have to admit....... he was THE ONLY realtor that answered every darn question on my list before I even had a chance to ask him! I hung up the phone dumbfounded and turned to my husband telling him, this is our man. I don't need to make any other phone calls. I just know, this is him. My husband was EXTREMELY wary and cynical...... but got over that very quickly after a few interactions with Thomas and now has even invited Thomas & his family to stay with us if they ever happen to be in the state we've moved to. Thomas Hennessy is THE best! Top notch! Creme de la creme! From day 1, the initial phone call, he was kind, BEYOND thorough, professional, and just all around great to work with. He worked well beyond what one could expect and stayed in touch constantly. We spoke with Thomas and then met with him at our home. He took his time answering our questions, providing objective data regarding how many homes they sell, how long their listings typically stay on the market, and providing tons of info on comps in the area. Throughout the entire process, beginning to end,A Thomas was ALWAYS available through various means of communication. ALWAYS. We were concerned that due to the pandemic and the mass exodus out of New York City that our property would be tough to sell. Thomas made the process incredibly easy and took extra steps like giving us staging tips, having professional photographs taken, and a lot more. In that very first week we had hundreds of web hits, several in house visits, AND our final buyer. Thomas walked us through every step of the closing process.A The sale of our home was a difficult one, through absolutely no fault of Thomas nor our own. We had one hurdle after another getting thrown at us. He battled along side us like a champ and lifted us up when we started getting down! He acknowledged that all decisions we'd make were our own but he also was straight forward when he thought we were making a decision which was not in our best interest and took time to explain why. Thomas is a true professional and a genuinely nice guy and now feels like a friend of the family. I now realize it won't always be easy to sell your home, but I think you'd be hard pressed to find a better Realtor. We were so fortunate to have found Thomas. ZillowVERIFIED Tom is the best real estate agent we have met so far. I and my wife were looking to buy a house from past two years and we have met many other agents. But no other is comparable to Tom. Tom knows every bit of buying and selling process and makes sure his clients are protected. The property that we were buying had illegal oil tank in it. Tom made sure that got removed and through his contacts he made sure that the certificate of completion was obtained in time. He followed up at all delays caused by other parties and did everything so that deal was made as quick as possible. I recommend Tom for buying and selling real estate properties.

I searched how other apartments were listed in the area on zillow, trulia, and street easy. I've noticed that all of Thomas' listings had floor plan which was absent in all other units in the area listed by other agents. In addition, all of Thomas' listings featured beautiful photos that was definitely a cut above all the other ads. He followed up weekly and kept us advised of any updates. He was present with the photographer to make sure everything looked perfect. There were some items left in the house after we moved out. As I live outside of NYC, I sought the advise of a local Real Estate professional who recommended Tom Hennessy. Additionally, I am employed in the real estate industry and have working knowledge of real estate transactions. My experience with working with Tom Hennessy was excellent and I would highly recommend Tom with the opinion that I do not think a more diligent and professional Agent could be retained. Quite frankly there were times that I wondered if Tom had any other listings as he was so responsiveness day or night, week day or week end. And the very moment he received an offer, he conveyed it. It was also very clear with his negotiations that his focus was on securing the very best offer and not the fastest. And, incorporated into Tom's negotiations was his due diligence relative to the financial resources of the potential buyer. Tom would present the offer, present his review of the potential buyer's finances and then answer any and all questions I had. Tom provided all the information and clearly left the decision to me whether or not to accept the offer. In fact, the initial offer, once accepted, delayed signing the contract and the decision was made to walk away and accept an equal offer that Tom had on standby. From the first moment of working with Tom to the conclusion at the closing table, it was an excellent experience.
