It sounds like a simple thing but it is not. I was a first time home buyer and the process can be stressful and confusing. Thomas took the time to listen and ask questions. Now that I am in my new house I reflect back on the process and I am in a house that aligns perfectly to the discussions I had with Thomas. He is a steady partner in the buying process. I never felt alone and I always felt like Thomas had my best interests in mind. Thomas was available to me via phone, text and email. He respected my space and communicated at my pace. There was no "high-pressure" sales pitch. The additional services Thomas provided included recommendations for partners to assist with Mortgage, Home Insurance, Painting and tile work. He was there with me to help choose my finishes and colors. He is a calming influence and provided exactly what a partner should, an honest opinion. That was greatly appreciated and above and beyond what I thought a realtor would provide. Finally, as the process continues there will be challenges with other people, delays and situations that could not be foreseen. The challenges I faced had nothing whatsoever to do with Thomas. Tom was not just a realtor - he was a true advocate, subject matter expert, and business partner who consistently exceeded my expectations. He literally picked up every phone call and communicated effectively with an appropriate sense of urgency and importance. One of Tom's many strengths is his ability to negotiate and network. Within 5 minutes of my first email, Tom secured my visit to a listing that was on the market for < 1 hour. Within 24-hours, we gave an offer, stopped an open house, and competed against an all-cash- offering. We completed purchase & sale, financing, and closing within 45 days!!!!! The closing itself took about an hour and I had the keys in hand to move-in that same day. There was nothing more I could have wanted during the entire process. I whole-heartily endorse Tom Green. Look no further for an amazing realtor!DETAILS: Tom and I worked together over the summer of 2014. We made an offer on a place with a difficult selling agent who was unwilling to negotiate, and was rude in the process. Tom, however, was calm and level-headed throughout the negotiation. Although in the end we were unsuccessful on this sale, Tom did a great job in dealing with a challenging seller. He kept me in-the-loop on the entire process and offered advice on how much I should move on price, but left the final decision with me.A few months later, I found a property late one night while browsing Trulia. I emailed Tom about the property and he got back to me almost immediately. Due to Toms swift response and action, in the course of one week, I was able to see the place twice, make an offer, and reach an agreement with the seller! He was immensely helpful in being a liaison between me, the seller, the real estate lawyer, and the bank. Tom kept on top of everything throughout the whole process and ensured that we would satisfy every detail of the mortgage requirements; he even helped me set up utilities at the new place! (Which was seriously a nightmare). We were first time home buyers so didnt know exactly what we want, so we were everywhere in terms of budgets, towns, type of residents; but Tom was very patient and guided us all the way. We also had many issues in the process, but Tom was always there when we needed him . Another thing that made me enjoyed working with Tom is his responsiveness. His turnaround time on our emails/phone calls is amazing. 95% of my emails/phone calls were answered instantly, the other 5% takes about 10mins or less before he replied.
