I started out in Real Estate as a Residential Income Property Investor, originally managing all aspects of my own units. The technical knowledge of the physical properties and the deep understanding of real estate contracts gained through my personal real estate acquisitions and dispositions naturally led me to obtain my Real Estate Sales license. At first, friends and family would call on me to help navigate them through the often complex purchase process. Fortuitously and unintentional, I had developed a blossoming real estate sales business. Unfortunately the real estate market crashed but my desire to help others did not diminish. I shifted with the market and learned all I could about short sales and pre-foreclosure options for distressed sellers. I transitioned into a short sale solutions Manager in my current brokerage and earned the reputation as a short sale specialist among my colleagues in the industry. I was the executive Manager of a growing Real Estate Firm, overseeing a staff of Real estate professionals that focus on Home Buyers & Sellers. In addition to that I was very much involved in my first love of Property Management. I oversaw a property management department that manages a portfolio of scattered site single and multifamily properties. I love to work with new investors and try and assist them in all the steps in starting an investment portfolio of their own as well as seasoned investors. Any area of Real estate is my passion from first time home buyers to sellers. I have been traveling to NC for the last twenty years and finally made this beautiful state my home. I enjoy Lake Jordan, and downtown dining in both Raleigh and Durham.
