ZillowVERIFIEDWe have had the absolute pleasure of working with Theresa Hutchins of BluAxix Realty in the search for our dream home in the Smoky Mountains of North Carolina. When we first began this journey, we came to her with what we believed was a well-defined wish list. Through many aEUR" and I truly mean many aEUR" visits and showings, that list evolved as we learned more about mountain living. Theresa guided us every step of the way with patience, insight, and incredible attention to detail. She thoroughly researched each property and continuously educated us, ensuring we felt confident and informed in every decision. Her dedication went far beyond what we ever expected. She graciously picked us up from the airport, thoughtfully arranged eight to nine showings in a single day, and returned us to the airport aEUR" trip after trip, month after month. Her commitment to helping us find not just a house, but the right home, never wavered. Because of Theresas expertise, perseverance, and genuine care, we found the perfect home for us aEUR" and it truly is everything we dreamed of. We could not be happier, and we know without a doubt that we would not have found this special place without her. We are deeply grateful and cannot recommend Theresa highly enough.

ZillowVERIFIED Outstanding and ethical agent that kept her word on everything and did an incredible job of representing me as I was moving cross country to the area. Theresa went above and beyond not just with the purchase of my home but also helped me logistically to get settled in and made me feel so comfortable here. One of the kindest individuals I have ever crossed paths with and I recommend her 100% to any and all that need to sell or purchase a home and feel blessed that I found her!

ZillowVERIFIED Over the past five years, my wife and I have been fortunate enough to get to know Theresa and her husband. They are all-around solid individuals that you can count on to be of the highest integrity.Recently my wife and I worked closely with Theresa to list our house. After further discussions between my wife and I we decided to change directions and not list our home. Throughout the entire process Theresa was awesome! She was timely, great at follow-up and knows the in's and out's of real-estate like a professional that she is. Theresa even went as far as suggesting we just let friends, family and neighbors know that we are preparing to sell in case they knew someone who would purchase before we listed the home to potentially save on some realtor fees. How many realtors would even give that as an option?? She was looking out for our best interest!Theresa is knowledgeable, efficient, honest and with great resolve. I would recommend her to anyone looking for a great home buying/selling experience.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa was an excellent realtor for helping us find the house that would work for our family. She was prompt when helping us get viewings-often the same day we requested it. She had much knowledge of house construction and was so helpful in analyzing each house we viewed. Theresa quickly got a feel for the type of home we were searching for and patiently and diligently worked toward helping us find it. We could not be more pleased with our experience.

ZillowVERIFIED I can not say enough wonderful things about Theresa and my buying experience with her. She has the special ability to make you feel like you are her only client, which is always far from the truth. She not only found the perfect place for me but she kept me calm during my freaking out spells which happened more than I would like to admit. Theresa has a very calm way about her that really helps during the house purchasing process. She is truly an expert in her field and she was on top of anything that needed to be done. She also knew the perfect people to call to help with what ever job needed to be done to help my process. You will never go wrong having Theresa as your agent!!

ZillowVERIFIED I have worked with Theresa Hutchins twice now. She helped me buy a house and then 8 years later, she helped me sell that house. She made the house buying and selling process seem easy. I was informed of everything that was going to happen so there were no surprises. I was able to get in touch with her when I had questions and she responded quickly.I would definitely recommend Theresa to anyone considering buying or selling a home.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa was great to work with during the process of selling my mother's second home in Brevard, NC. I felt very in touch with her even though I live out of state. She was always responsive and very helpful right up until the end! We were closing in the midst of the COVID Shelter in Place order and she was on top of all the details and helped cooordinate everyone that was working from home to get the sale closed!I would highly recommend Theresa for listing your home and I am sure she would be a great buyer's agent too!

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa is great to work with. She was patient as we worked remotely to identify the best property match for our needs. Every time we visited, she was ready with a not only a list of properties, but and thorough explanation of how the process of putting a property under contract, due diligence, inspections and closing. The thing we liked about Theresa the most was just the down to earth personal experience of working with her. Anybody can find a list of properties on the internet, but Theresa knew the people, the landscape, and the process. She was able to guide a husband and wife that did not always see eye-to-eye to property where everyone's needs were met.We could not be happier to have made a new friend and neighbor in Theresa Hutchins. There is a reason all her recommendations are 5 Star!

ZillowVERIFIED Being not only a first time home buyer But also a long distance (out of state) home buyer presented many challenges. I really hit the lottery when another realtor (friend) referred me to Theresa as she herself did not service the area i was interested in. Theresa was there for us from picking us up from our hotel to show us properties to the final close and every step in between. During this time Theresa had major foot surgery and still hobbled through rain, cold up and down never complaining and all with a smile on her face and many words of encouragement!! She was so knowledgeable about the area. She went above and beyond and made our first time buying experience a simple and stress free one. Now that the home buying is done i now consider her my friend whom just happens to be a great realtor.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa was an absolute gem! We could not have asked for a better agent. Her communication and responsiveness was exceptional which made us comfortable through the entire buying/closing process. Coming from out of state, Theresa offered to conduct a virtual walk through. She opened a FaceTime session and expertly walked us through the house moving the camera slowly and steadily. We did not experience motion sickness which was an added bonus. She helped guide us through the NC real estate laws, which were different than the state from which we moved. After negotiations were complete, she coordinated all inspections of our choosing, and followed up when issues were noted. We highly recommend Theresa, and will absolutely utilize her expertise when we start our next real estate adventure.

ZillowVERIFIED If I could give Theresa Hutchins a 7 out of 5, I would. Theresa was the broker for a complicated sale which involved a family death, a trust account, and all parties out of town. Theresa has exceptional people skills, incredible knowledge of the region, and exemplary expertise in real estate transactions. She handled our transaction with just the right balance of firmness and grace. I would highly recommend Theresa whether you are in the region or out of town.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa Hutchins is a phenomenal real estate expert with BluAxis Reality in Brevard NC. I was an out-of-state seller of a house in Pisgah Forest with an out-of-state buyer. Theresas rapport with the closing attorneys, agents, and loan officers and her ability to offer solutions kept this sale from collapsing. Theresas expert knowledge of North Carolina real estate regulations, procedures, and forms, including DocuSign, contributed significantly to smoothing the way for the buyer who did not have an agent. Theresa is a professional -- readily available, immediately responsive to calls and e-mails. She anticipates problems, risks, possible outcomes, then calls to discuss. Her advice is honest, discerning, disclosing the good and bad, while being a champion for her client. I have dealt with real estate agents over the last sixty years in many states aEUR" none were as masterful as Theresa. She is the best.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa Hutchins was broker agent for non residents sale of house in Brevard, NC. Theresa never lost sight that she represented the seller, not the buyer. The seller's knowledge of NC real estate value and procedures was negligible. Theresa provided forms, guided procedure step by step, and prevented contractual missteps. Theresa was polite, available, answered every question. During buyer's negotiation Theresa provided pictures of property, monitored property condition, and gave excellent recommendations. Theresa was always cognizant of her role as representative of the seller. Theresa would be my choice for any future real estate transactions.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa was great at making us feel very comfortable and knowledgeable of the whole process. I especially appreciated her willingness to work with us and making herself available anytime. It felt so reassuring that if we had any doubts or issues we knew we could call/text Theresa and she would be there to help! We felt she truly wanted the best for us and that made a huge difference. When working with Theresa we immediately felt comfortable and respected. Being that this was our first home and just being young in general it was important to us to be taken seriously. Theresa never made us feel wrong for not knowing something. She always answered our questions and if she didnt know immediately she would find out for us. We highly recommend Theresa Hutchins for anyone looking to buy! Especially those who are buying their first home, or maybe havent had the best experience with other brokers in the past. She is genuinely kind and wants the best for you and it shows! She is with you every step of the way! "

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa was very professional, yet easy to talk to and express our desires in what we were looking for in a home. She made herself available (even late in the day) without rushing us. Theresa gave us good advice and answered every question we had about homes in the areas we were looking at; and when she didn't have the answer, she immediately got back to us. Theresa was referred to us by 2 different buyers in the nearby area, and we hope to refer her to future home buyers as well. 100% satisfied!

Before we traveled to the area the first time, Theresa helped find properties that met our criteria so that when we got there we were ready to hit the ground running. Our second trip was no exception. She spent numerous hours with us before, during and after our visit. She put over 1300 miles on her car taking us to all the properties we wanted to see. We are now very happy owners of a beautiful home and ready to start the next chapter in our lives. Theresa is the agent you want when you are looking for property in this area. Feeling Blessed!

ZillowVERIFIED We have worked with many real estate agents over the years, and Theresa was by far the best agent that we have ever worked with. Her knowledge of real estate and the local area was impressive. We had very specific criteria and she worked hard to find what we were looking for. Theresa worked around our schedule, followed up on all paperwork, coordinated with the attorney, and keep us updated with every step. She made the process painless. We look forward to working with her again in the future.

ZillowVERIFIED We have bought 6 houses in our 25 years of marriage & Theresa Hutchins was the BEST realtor we have ever used!!!! We were living in South Carolina & would spontaneously come to town hoping to see a few houses. She was always flexible & eager to accommodate our crazy schedule. She made us feel comfortable & never rushed or pressured us. I was incredibly impressed by her knowledge of real estate law & she was the master at negotiating. We have four children & this was a very difficult move for our school age kids but Theresa made the house hunting & purchasing of a new home a smooth transition for our family. ZillowVERIFIED Words can barely describe how grateful we are for Theresas assistance as we researched, toured, and, ultimately, bought a home in Brevard. Her knowledge of the region, the market, and the law made our search that much easier. Her patience and good humor made what may have been a tedious task fun. Her attention to detail (or was it a sixth sense?) caught what could have been a costly error as we closed on our future home. We recommend Theresas services without reservation and have to admit, now that were about to become neighbors, that well miss the scenic drives and lively conversation that accompanied our house-hunting.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa is the realtor everyone should have. She is extremely knowledgeable about the business of buying a home. She will go extra miles, literally, to make sure you have a clear picture of whats available that meets your demands. We recently purchased a home in NC. We live out of state and had limited time to look at homes. Theresa previewed the homes before we traveled to NC and saved us a lot of time. She takes the time to get to know what you really want vs what you really need. Never tried to influence us and had the patience necessary to deal with our ever changing "desired area." We not only had the best realtor ever, we now have a new friend in our new state of NC.

ZillowVERIFIED Theresa is an excellent realtor. We have used her twice already; once to buy and once to sell. She keeps you in the loop and explains everything. She took a lot of time with us, a year at least, to help us locate the right fixer upper house. She is honest and really goes to bat for her clients. We have no qualms in recommending her as a great realtor. She knows about utility info, septic tanks, getting city water, renting, and how to deal with foreclosures and banks.
