Jeremy Martin of The Stern Team, while reminding us that we needed to be open minded, set up a plan to effectively market our house and gave us specific instructions. We tried to follow those instructions to the letter and he set his plan in motion. As a result of the time and effort taken by the whole team (you included, Elizabeth), we received no less than 3 offers 6% OVER our asking price! and had those offers 3 days after the house went on the market. ZillowVERIFIED We worked directly with Michael Wolters, a member of the Stern Team. Shopping for an agent and going through the selling process we dealt with many agents. Many were arrogant, newbies, not passionate, and/or not knowledgeable. A couple of agents, including Michael Wolters, were the opposite of that - open and listening, experienced, passionate and knowledgeable. From the beginning, Michael listened carefully to everything we said. Throughout the process he continued to listen to what we had to say and answered every question. We were in regular contact with Michael, both him calling us and us calling him. Every phone call or text was answered promptly. His answers to questions reflected his mastery of real estate. He could back up his answers and recommendations with experience and sound logic. As we discussed negotiation details his advice was dead on. We learned that he is still in training classes - 16 years of experience and he is still both learning and sharing his knowledge. As a member of the Stern Team, Michael has access to a number of resources that he leveraged during the selling process. We met or dealt with six or seven other people who were up-to-speed on our property and who exhibited the same openness and passion to sell our home. People were knocking on doors, sending emails, and refreshing postings for us. We had tens of thousands of views on our property from multiple sources. We felt like the team had our back. Due to location, our home was a challenge to sell. A home that sells in three days does not require a skilled agent. Selling our home required a skilled agent and we got that with Michael and the rest of the Stern Team. We left the market for 6 months and chose Jeremy as our agent to re-list because of his direct to the point communications and his approach to marketing out home.
