Working as our buyers' agents as we relocated from three states away, they were patient, responsive and available, organized and reliable, and relentless in their quest to help find our dream home - no easy task since we had some very specific needs and wants. Once we found just the right house, they helped us negotiate an excellent deal and communicated between us, our lender, and the seller's agent frequently so that we always knew exactly where we were in the process as the closing date approached. Looking at all the other positive reviews they've received it's obvious that they serve many clients, but they will make you feel as though you are the most important one. ZillowVERIFIED They are very responsive and kept us informed. We had already moved so we needed the agent who will keep an eye on our property. Kingsport is a very slow real estate market specially in $300K+ houses. Therefore, we had to lower the price significantly to attract a buyer. They provided feedback from all the showings. At initial listing they provided advice on what touch up work need to be done and recommended the contractors. Even though we received 20% lower price for house compared to Zestimate, we are happy that house sold before winter. This double agent team provided very valuable service.

ZillowVERIFIED Terry and Melanie recently helped us buy and now sell a house. On buying a house it was clear they were working for us. They were very responsive, gave honest assessment of options and represented us well. Sometimes it seems agents just want to get a deal done. I did not get that feeling working with this team. Oh yea they are a lot of fun to work with as well. Rightly or wrongly I believe it is easier to buy than sell. On selling our house they have been just as professional, knowledgeable and hard working. The writeup was very good, pictures were good which anyone can do. What Terry and Melanie have is the contacts and obvious respect to get people in the door. They were working before we had it listed and first day we had multiple showings. We got an offer at target price within the first week. Much different experience than we ever had before.

There were homes in unsuitible locations that they automatically dismissed alongside of me. They never tried to sell me a home that I didn't like or want. The perfect home turned out to be unlisted (the couple had contacted them to sell) and they negotiated with the home owners to keep it from being listed. (Even though it meant a smaller commission for them...as they waived part of their fee.) They were always amiable, punctual, honest, and willing to answer any questions (Even in a 10pm text message, I had a reply within 5 minutes). I would highly recommend them to ANY person looking for a home on any budget. (Mine was less than 100K) and I never felt like I wasn't their top priority. I love my house! I intend to live in it, forever, but if I don't...I will definitely go through them for that house.

ZillowVERIFIED Terry is a top notch Real Estate Professional. My wife and I worked with her and Melanie and recieved nothing but great service. We looked for houses for well over a year maybe even two years. It was my wife and I's first house. The house that we purchased had to feel and look like home. It was hard for us to find the right house. We were very picky and wanted to spend as least as possible. We were set on buying a house alot less than the bank was willing to lend. Terry and Melanie never once pushed us over the budget we were willing to pay for a house. Terry and Melanie worked hard to find the house that we wanted. They allowed us to look for houses at our own pace. They kept us udated on houses in the price range we were looking for in the neighborhoods we desired to live in. We looked at several house over time and a couple of them multiple times. When we made a phone call to them, they ALWAYS returned the call if we didnt get to speak with them right away. When we had questions they found out. They were very flexible on times of showing houses and phone calls. I dont think you could find to harder working Realtors than Terry and Melanie. Today we do not see Terry and Melanie as two Realtors that sold us a house, but as two friends that made sure we found the right house for us and did not make the wrong choice in a house.
