One of the most important first steps in the home buying process is getting pre-approved for a mortgage. Speaking with a trusted lender helps you understand your budget, financing options, and purchasing power before you begin your home search. As a Realtor, I can connect you with reputable lenders who offer a variety of home loan programs tailored to different financial situations and goals. Whether you're a first-time home buyer or an experienced purchaser, asking questions is always free, and having the right team in place can make your home-buying journey smoother and more successful.

I always tell homeowners that asking questions is free—and it is one of the most powerful steps in the home selling process. Whether the answers are what you hope to hear or not, clarity helps you make confident decisions about how to move forward. My best advice for anyone thinking about selling a home is to invite a trusted Realtor over for a listing consultation. A professional real estate agent can walk through your home and answer the questions most sellers struggle with for weeks or even months before listing, such as: "Should I remodel the kitchen before selling? Should I paint every room neutral or white? Should I replace the carpet or sell as-is?" An experienced Realtor will help you understand what truly adds value, what improvements are worth the investment, and what home preparation steps will help you attract more buyers. This guidance ensures you don’t overspend on unnecessary updates while still positioning your home competitively in today’s real estate market. Having the right advice early in the home selling journey can save time, reduce stress, and often lead to a faster and more profitable home sale.

I have had the opportunity to work with a wide range of real estate clients, including first-time home buyers, experienced homeowners, sellers, investors, and clients with a variety of financing situations, credit backgrounds, and budget ranges. No two clients are the same, and I take pride in providing the same level of dedicated real estate service, communication, and support to each person I work with—regardless of their circumstances or price point. My client reviews reflect a consistent commitment to professionalism, trust, and responsiveness throughout every step of the buying or selling process. I truly value the trust my clients place in me and make it a priority to ensure they feel informed, supported, and confident from start to finish.

One recent real estate transaction I am especially fond of involved helping a 20-year-old first-time home buyer secure his very first home. He was a young mechanic with a clear vision of what he wanted, and together we were able to find a property that truly fit both his lifestyle and long-term goals. The home we purchased featured two garages, including one with multiple bays that could accommodate up to four vehicles—an ideal setup for his work and hobbies. Even more rewarding, we were able to structure the purchase so that his monthly mortgage payment was actually less than what he had been paying in rent. The transaction went smoothly from start to finish, and it was incredibly fulfilling to help him transition from renting to homeownership at such a young age. Experiences like this are a reminder of why I value building strong relationships with my clients and helping them achieve long-term financial stability through real estate.

My journey into real estate began in 2020 when my partner Chris and I were preparing to list our home. We invited a Realtor over for a listing consultation to better understand the home selling process and what we should do before putting our house on the market. During that conversation, I shared my growing interest in real estate and my long-term thoughts about becoming a Realtor myself. She encouraged me and provided valuable guidance on how to get started, including the licensing steps, where to take real estate classes, and even invited me to connect with Key Realty if I decided to pursue a career in the industry. Just three days later, my position of five years was unexpectedly eliminated due to COVID-19. While it was a major life change, it became the turning point that pushed me to fully pursue real estate. Looking back, what felt like a setback turned into the best Friday the 13th of my life. I went on to become a licensed Realtor, and I genuinely love helping clients navigate buying and selling homes every day.
