With the time difference, we tried to respect his personal time but it was comforting that he was never too far from his phone to answer any late ascended questions/concerns. He was phenomenal at explaining/keeping us informed throughout the entire process. Mr. Courtney was consistent with all occurrences after we departed Oklahoma and assisted us to accomplish all requirements to sell/close. It is difficult to have confidence in anyone when it comes to trying to sell your home (especially when you are more than an 8-hour drive away); however, with Mr. Courtneys military background we were guaranteed he had our best interest at all times. You are by all means welcome to try to sell your home yourself; however, as we discovered it comes with a lot of headaches. Learn from our mistake--give Mr. Courtney a call instead and give him an opportunity to work for you. We put him on short suspense and he prevailed. ZillowVERIFIED Having the WORLDS BEST REALTOR Terry Courtney makes all the difference when buying a home. TJ went above and beyond for our family! My husband and I cannot thank him enough. All the random late night calls with questions and concerns, all the reassurance he gave and every time he had to step in and take control with the short comings of others during the process- we thank you! We began our move from Nevada to Oklahoma and during that three day drive with my husband, myself, all the kids and a dog we made it halfway before finding out we might lose our home. As you can imagine shock and panic set in. Due to a technicality between the states from selling one home and closing on another a mistake was made on the Nevada side that was about to cause us to lose out on the home we just waited 30 days to close on. TJ called me right away and was already in the works of fixing this issue and while it wasn't his mistake, he was determined to find a solution and keep our close date on track. After calming everyone down, TJ explained how he could help and how he was not about to let a veteran and his family be homeless in a brand new city and state. TJ worked hard and after making a million calls to all parties involved he was able to get everyone on the same page and save our home. He is our HERO! Not only did we close on time but our family got the home of our dreams all thanks to TJ's hard work. The procedures of selling a home in one state and buying a home in another was a nightmare but TJ made it smooth, easy and stress free. No matter what happened TJ was calm and professional, even when sometimes I wasnt LOL. He would step in and say aEURoeIll handle itaEUR? or aEURoeThis is the plan....dont worryaEUR?. This isnt the first time my husband and I have bought or sold a house but it is the first weve ever had an agent like TJ who really works for his clients and puts them first. We had a short timeline to find a home and had a need to purchase quickly. We entrusted TJ with our needs and he did not disappoint. TJ was always friendly, available, patient and had our best interests in mind. He quickly pointed out discrepancies or potential pitfalls in some of the homes that we were interested in and advised us on properties that could pose problems if we ever decided to resale. Terry talked to my wife and I on a number of occasions to understand exactly what we were looking for in a house. He provided house listings by email based on the frequency that we wanted, viewed houses for us due to us being out of the area, and provided comprehensive emails on the properties to ensure we had a full grasp of the properties; it was like my wife and I were actually there. On a couple of occasions, he provided Skype viewings of the houses. He was very responsive to emails, texts, and phone calls. He pushed communication to my wife and I, which was great because he understood our housing needs and made sure we didn't miss anything. Terry is an extremely knowledgeable realtor, and understands the housing market, and knows the OKC area like the back of his hand. He answered all our questions, and if he didn't know the answer, he got back to us in a timely manner with the information we requested. After we picked our home and the seller accepted our offer, Terry scheduled and attended the house inspection, and other things for us since we weren't living in OK yet. When we closed on our home, he provided us with a "HomeKeepr" app that lists recommended household services/contractors in the area in case we needed to hire anyone in the future. Terry did an outstanding job as our realtor. I highly recommend him, and will recommend him to anyone one I know moving to the OKC area.
