About Terrie Elwood
I truly enjoy helping people find their dream home and guiding homeowners through the process when it's time to sell. Having worked extensively with foreclosures during the market downturn, I gained valuable insight into many neighborhoods across the city and developed a strong understanding of changing market conditions. It has been rewarding to watch the market rebound and see neighborhoods revitalized, and I'm excited to continue serving my clients. From market guidance and pricing strategy to staging and selling your home, I am committed to providing knowledgeable, personalized service every step of the way.

FAQ
1. Make sure your credit is in order - request a free copy of your credit report and make sure there is nothing on there that shouldn't be. Most erroneous items can be disputed online.
2. Talk to a lender or a Mortgage Broker and get pre-approved. The market is VERY competitive right now and a lender letter is a must. A local lender is preferred over an online lender by most sellers.
1. Make small repairs on deferred maintenance items such as a leaky faucet. Paint only if the existing paint is damaged and use neutral colors.
2. Don't make major updates.
3. Hire a cleaner to deep clean. This really does make a difference in what a buyer is willing to pay.
I have worked with everyone! I have sold rural homes, condos and single family. I have helped buyers with getting their credit scores up and buy with no money down (not just VA loans!)
In 2003 I was the Bookkeeper at a local real estate office and started helping with the listing paperwork and decided I really liked it, so I went to another Brokerage and became a full time assistant and it grew from there!
I am Certified with VA Buyers and Sellers and have extensive experience with distressed properties, both Buying and Selling. I am military certified to assist military members and will work tirelessly for you whether buying or selling.
